Trying For a Baby III

Oh Twinklie I don't really know the answer to that one. I know a lot of doctors won't consider it a problem if you've only missed one period. I know I went to mine after 6 months of no show and even then didn't get very far and was told to come back in a couple of months if still nothing. But that was because they were blaming my weight for the problem. It was only after 9 months that they started doing blood tests to investigate. If it were me I'd hold off until next month and see what happens, you could just have skipped one because of being ill or stress etc.0

Courgette, it looks lovely - I love York too. Hope you are feeling better in time for it - me and DH had a sick bug 2 days after our wedding but luckily ok b4 our honeymoon.
I know what you mean re all inclusive, I was so glad not to have a BFP before our honeymoon as lots of the hotels gave us free sparkling wine and free minibars (seems a waste otherwise!).
Obviously I hope I get a BFP this month - but is anyone not look forward to a xmas alcohol free and feeling sick?
My sister had this a few years ago and was miserable . .
Good luck all this monthThomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

Still feeling sick pretty much constantly and beginning to wonder if ive just picked up some bug from work
have decided though ill probably lurk in here for a while and avoid googling pregnancy symptoms as id convinced myself it would be a bfp and well it wasnt which kinda made me realise after being unsure of what i wanted what i actually do want if that makes sense to anyone??

WELL today happens to be me and ohs annivesary of getting together 6yrs!! and he doesnt bother to get me anything so i give him the bank card and say if u want to buy anything nudge nudge!! and after he goes to shops and rings to ASK what i want he gets me a lovely flower!
he comes home and says that his sister is pregnant again! and its also the anniversary tha we lost the last baby and although i know it wont mean much to many others they should have waited till a different day to tell us! so that upset me and the fact i never got a hug or a acknoledgement(SP) off anybody else aswell!

jacobsmum, I think that is awful that they told you on the anniversary, but some people just don't think, does your other half realise what day it was? Maybe he'll take you out for the day today?

hope everyone else is ok today!

Aw sweetheart :grouphug: Is it possible that his sister etc dont realise how significant yesterday was? I'm sorry your having such a bad time just now xx0 -
jennyfleur - af is aunty flo (period), bfn is big fat negative and bfp is big fat positive as in pregnancy tests. If you go onto the first page, there is a post near the start that has a link to what all the abbrievations mean

Thanks for all the lovely wedding related comments, everyone! One week to go....:rotfl: Weighed myself this morning - am now 10st2lb, down from 11st at the start of August :j:j:j AND I now fit lots of the clothes I'd grown out of so it's like having a new wardrobe :money::money::money:
Skintscotslass we haven't actually booked our hotel room for the Edinburgh night (30th Oct). We were just planning cheap n cheerful (eg Travelodge) but is there anywhere you'd recommend? Any places to vist too that you think would be good? Will it also be half term there or are the dates different for Scotland (I know you go back much earlier)
Jacobsmum I bet your family didn't realise it was the anniversary of your mc, I don't think anyone would deliberately time it like that otherwise. I bet already my H2B couldn't name the date I mc'd or the due date but I know he was as devastated as I was. Tell your hubby why you're so upset then get him to take you all out for a pub lunch or something (((hugs)))Updating soon...0
