I do keep thinking on happy moments..... he was a great influence in my life....
  • Thank you ladies! the lovely midwife mentioned while hubby was in the room after that bleeding can be caused by stress and that i should take it easy. I felt like turning to OH and saying 'see, i told you so - i'm not just making excuses' but i thought that'd just be mean.

We had to sit in a waiting room for about an hour after i was scaned and as OH didn't make it in i left him that entire hour in limbo as i refused to talk about it or even let him know it was ok until we left the waiting room. I think there were at least two other couples who didn't get good news :( I felt really sad for them.

Still spotting but i feel much better knowing i have seen a heartbeat. I have had alot of pain today but the midwife thinks that may be down to the cyst on my ovary :( but nothing can be done so just have to grin and bear it and hope it'll pass. As long as bean is ok i'm sure i'll cope!

Thank you again for your support! Wishing lots of sticky baby dust to you all, i hope you are all here for just a short time (i mean up the duff, not being mean ;) )!

LauraLou, if you want to know exactly what is happening with your first cycle I would suggest temping and using OV sticks. Most people seem to find that their first cycle is somewhat different to normal - for most people it's often longer, for me, I actually ovulated nearly a week earlier than I would in a normal cycle.
  • Confuzzled - your post made me laugh as well as feel bad for you. I will secretly have my fingers crossed for you ;)

  • :o OMG - i am bawling at Eastenders (bbc3, lol, i'm not just slow)

I have never cried like that at a blimmin soap :( I hope Bradley comes back.

Are they killing Dot off? I know she deserves a retirement now but i'd really miss Dot :(

  • Hi Ladies

Hope things are going well. Started OPK testing but no joy yet - which is kind of good as DH and I have not been in the mood for BDing!! Anyway running low on OPKs so went into Boots and FR OPKs are BOGOF but plus you get a free early PG test in each kit (did in Boots I was in) so if anyone needs OPKs and PG tests may be worth having a look . . .

  • LauraLou - Try an ovulation calculator, it's not 100% accurate as our bodies are all different, however it can give you the days when you "should" be fertile.

    Morninggggggggggggg all:j

I am pretending to be upbeat and bouncey as I have a 17.5 hour shift at work today (staff shortages) but I really feel like screaming blurghhhhhhhhhhhhh! I so wanted to watch Xfactor.
Nevermind I am on a weeks annual leave from tommorrow...so all is okay really.

O/H's back is a little better but he is still wittering about it...you know what men are like when they are ill. It is such a good job that they don't have to give birth!

How did you get on Confuzzled??? I am dying to know...fingers crossed for you.x x

Good luck for tomorrow Natalie....lets have two BFP this weekend. x x

Great news on the scan front Ellie :T...after this weeks stress you should really have a nice, relaxing pamper weekend. And don't forget Xfactor is on at 8 tonight. :D x x

Good luck to all of you ttc today, fingers crossed for the testers, big hugs for the poorly ones and those feeling down. x x x

I am off for brekky...cashew nut butter on wholemeal toast...yum yum.

    Love Bam x x x

    Morning ladies :hello:

My-gorgeous-ellie-belle, congratulations on your excellent news, I bet that's such a relief (understatment of the year)

Confuzzled, you've gone very quiet, everything okay?

Quick question: my OPKs have been showing a positive for the last 3 nights. Does this sound right? Surely if it says I'm due to ov in the next 24-36hrs I should have done by now rather than it keeping on saying that? I've run out now, unsure really whether or not to buy any more. I only bought them when I started feeling 'hormonally weird' 2 weeks ago and on the same night I bought a pg test - both negative. I don't really want to go down the whole testing route this early on with ttc but am intrigued as to what's actually doing on. Any thoughts?

Watched Dirty Dancing this morning, timeless classic - ace!

Hope everyone's okay, good luck to those testing xxx :D
