hi ellie belle thats fantastic news, have been thinking about you so I'm so pleased everything is going ok and I agree with Bam you definately deserve a pamper this weekend.
I also wanted to wish you good luck for tomorrow confuzzled. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that AF isn't on her way and that you get a fabby BFP0 -
confuzzled- as courgette says how have you *not* tested?! You're one strong willed lady!
courgette - its possible to have multiple surges, or if you think about it it could be you picked it up right at the beginning, then you've caught it all the way to the end (it can take up to 48 hours for ov) - its possible...;)
ellie- brilliant news!!Just rest up now and get your OH to spoil you to make amends
bam-17.5hr shift?! <insert fainting smilie here>
As for me, well good news is my friend's baby's not made a break for it, and the contractions have stopped so she's been allowed home under strict instructions to rest :j So we're going to buy a decidedly sickly indulgent cake and take it over for them all, think they deserve a treat after the last few days!
On my ttc note, 5DPO still feeling really crampy and its becoming annoying now  but it not painful, so I'm just cursing under my breath and getting on with my DIY (yes, the saga continues..) Anyway, off to buy the aforementioned cake and go see my friend.
stickybabydust and sticky bean vibes and good luck for bd'ers/pg ladies and testers
You ladies are awesome, all so helpful and supportive - you deserve a cup of tea and a biscuit and to put your feet up for 10 mins :A :beer:Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -
Afternoon Ladies,
I have been lurking for a while on this board and thought it was about time I actually posted and said hello :hello:
I have not actually started ttc yet but I am getting my implant taken out on Monday . I am 31 (32 at Christmas) and OH is 39. We have decided to start a family and I am concerned that after 5 years of being on depo and the implant it is going to take some time for by body to sort itself out. Have any of you guys had any experience of this? It is all so exciting and scary at the same time. Hope it is OK for me to share my journey with you.
Hope you are all having a great weekend, sticky baby dust to you all x0 -
Hi gravesend and welcome! A collegue of mine had her implant taken out in january, and is due in december (she's just over 30 too). Sometimes it can happen that quick - sometimes your body takes a while to get back its hormonal rhythm. Either way, come and chat/rant on here whenever you feel like itNever argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0

Thanks Blitzer! I am assuming the worst, that it will take a year for my body to regulate itself and therefore hopefully I can only be presently surprised. Am not really looking forward to my first AF in 5 years though!!
Glad to hear thaat your friend is doing well, enjoy the cake!0 -
