  • Just wanted to give bigs hugs to everyone who needs them and hope that anyone who is feeling ill gets better soon.

In work so sorry for reading and running xx
  • Hi Lauralou - i had what i thought was an extremely heavy period like you describe. I was really concerned about the amounts of clots i was passing so went to Dr's and she said it sounded like a chemical pregnancy (i think thats what it was called) which i just should have just missed completely. I have had a few periods that were like that that came about week late and just assumed it was the same - not entirely sure it was or not though.

I hope you feel better soon!

A quick update: I had scan today (OH came with me but then missed the actual scan as i was called in while he took DD to the loo - typical, lol) but i had to have an internal scan so kind of glad i was alone for that. Bean is fine, a week behind though so i am only just over 7 wks . They couldn't explain the bleeding but there was a heartbeat and everything looked generally ok. They did however notice that i have a cyst on my ovary that want to keep an eye on that may be filling with fluid or blood . Apparently it is growing from where the egg was released and may cause some small internal bleeding . Lol, after they told me this they said it's nothing to worry about just yet  Talk about scare me first before telling me it's ok.

Anyway i am refusing to google the problem and just take the midwife's advice and not worry  because if i research and find out it's a little more serious i'll turn into a wreck. :o

Anyone ever been told something similar?

And thank you all ladies for helping me stay calm yesterday :A:T

I take 75mg enteric coated asprin but you can buy dispersable 75mg ones over the counter at the chemists & I also take a high dose Folic acid tablet that I was prescribed as my blood levels are always low
