Trying For a Baby III

that might be an idea... how long do they store they temp for? and how long does it take to take ur temp?
Ive pretty much got my morning timing down to the last second LOL
Mine takes about 20-30s to take your temp, I think (I'm always a bit too groggy to be more accurate than that!) You have to find the best place for you to hold it in your mouth under your tongue and that takes a few goes (if it takes longer than 30s it can get uncomfortable if its in an awkward spot). Then you turn it off and it stores your temp until you turn it on again, you get a 1-2 second display of the stored temp then it tries to take another reading. So I always make sure I'm paying attention when I turn it on again! Thats how my thermometer works anyway, though I'm sure they're all pretty similar.
[STRIKE]Morning[/STRIKE] Afternoon all :hello: Drizzly and miserable day here, so my plan is to get my little porch skirting boards glossed and rip up the carpet then we're going snowboarding later (and I'm having my millionth lesson in the hope of building up my confidence )
Boobs are killing today (6DPO), I hate progesterone, it bungs me up makes my boobs hurt then doesn't even have the decency to give me a sticky bean! Bah! *shakes fist*
Ooh and courgette- how exciting :j:j:j:j:j:j:j - on both counts. Fingers crossed you get the wedding present that money can't buy
Hope everyone's having a good weekend and that poorly peeps are feeling better, sticky beans are staying sticky, and everyone's getting lots of bd'ing in and enjoying itNever argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -

Noooo, you're not allowed to voice that! I'm already dreaming of what pont in the day I'd tell him, whispered in his ear during the first dance is my current favourite. Bad Courgette, stop thinking of such things!:rotfl:

Hi everyone,
Gawd I'm feeling really mean today. Saw another thread on the debt free diary where someone has announced today they are pregnant and I just thought "it's not fair"... Other websites I just should not go on have made me even more grouchy. I will so understand when I have my turn if people are not over the moon for me. It just shows you don't know what's happening in other people's heads. All the ladies at work that were pg have just given birth (mine would have been due 24 September) and i have found that really difficult. But just have to get on with it.
Cd16 for me. Got a few good BD in recently but it's felt like a real effort for us both for whatever reason. Last night DH admitted he may have drunk too much wine as he was struggling but got there in the end... I've been keeping my alcohol intake really really low ie. 1-2 glasses of wine per month and cut out caffeine so really feel like i'm making more effort than him.
This month, I have been taking some vitamin b complex with folic acid (seven seas one a day) in the hope that the vit b will make my cycle a bit longer (we're up from 24 to to 26 days now).
Well sorry to be down beat. TTC can be so difficult some times and I have no one to talk to as only DH knows but doesn't like to really talk much about it (oh and my boss knows due to the MC) we're trying (just realised how daft that sounds - good job DH knows!). Hope everyone else is doing well and I promise I will be pleased for any ladies on this thread that hit the jackpot.

Hey girlies.
CD1 for me (after being 3 days late ) First month we'll be "really" trying so everything crossed. Am plotting away on FF, not temping though. Don't really want to get into all that just yet.
Quick q tho if I may. I normally get AF overnight, but she arrived yesterday. Well, I say arrived, was more like **TMI ALERT** pinky cm which got slighlty heavier before bed. Am full flow and cramping this morning. Do I count that as day 1 or today as it'll make a massive difference in my forecasted OV day if i'm even one day out
**Edit - never mind - I figured it out myself**
SK xAfter 4 years of heartache, 3 rounds of IVF and 1 loss :A - we are finally expecting our miracle Ki11en - May 2014 :j
And a VERY surprise miracle in March 2017!0 -
Hi Katy, if you need someone to chat/rant/cry/whinge to, although im only online, im more than happy to help. My DH isnt the greatest for emotional conversations either, and when I m/ced he had no idea what to do or feel like perhaps because he wasnt experiencing the hormonal surges or the actual physical pain of mc-ing. he just kinda carried on.....
Hes very good with giving me hugs when im having low days etc but he just never knows what to actually say to make any of it better....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
