Omg it wasn't a dig at you. Seriously... please take the comment for what it was. I apologise if it reads like it was at you, i'm just getting sick of reading the b*tchy comments in this thread directed at the people who have had their result.

Why are people so touchy about pregnancy - it happens to millions of people every day, if it's not happening as quickly for you then it's not healthy to resent everyone it does. (Again, that's not directed at you).
  • Seriously, there are real women with real feelings on here. Lets just draw a line under this nastiness, everyone go back to their own thread and lets just carry on. Thats the thing with an unmoderated forum, things can kick off whether they have a "right" to or not.

I don't think you're in a position to tell people to chill out beenie, you've obviously not had a problem, and thus don't get why its so emotional for some women. And that's good I just wish it was that easy/quick for everyone. It is not however, and just 'cuz we're not the 12+ months board doesn't mean the women on here don't have medical problems/multiple miscarriages/other factors causing subfertility. I don't think your comments are helpful or constructive to women trying for a baby or for women carrying a baby. Stress is bad for everyone.

This all kicked off (and I'm sure it kicks off in a cyclical way) because a number of posters (i.e. more than those previously named) have posted they're trying on here one day and and a BFP the next. Or in some cases, just posted the BFP. I'm sure you can appreciate how that can seem to women who have been trying for a long time (some of the ladies on here belong on the 12+ months thread but do not feel they can move just yet, we're not all fly-by-nights despite what you think.)

This whole thing has been blown out of proportion by a combination of hormones and - for want of a better word - stirring, and I think its best if it gets back on track to try to help an support those who are trying for a baby.

In that vein, here's the list:

    Testing List
    [STRIKE]Thur 24th Sep - Katyj[/STRIKE]
    Sat 26th Sep - MsBella
    Wed 30th Sep - Hassle1
    Sun 11th Oct:eek: - Confuzzled, Smartie, Ellibobs
    Fri 16th Oct - suzyp
    Wed 21st Oct - Penny

Anymore for anymore? I'm debating sticking myself on the list as it just gives me the heebie-jeebies thinking about it at times. (Sorry confuzzled I've usurped you again... :o)
Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.

I agree that we should just draw a line under it as some comments are turning/misconstrued as nasty. My original post on the subject was out of concern that the two ladies in question may not feel able to come back again if (god forbid) they suffered an mc (my fingers are crossed that they don't, I won't be crossing my legs though :D).

I generally like it here and have found everyone ver friendly/helpful/supportive and really hope that people don't think I should be on the 12+ thread just because I've been trying for over 2 years.

Anyways, not much going on on the TTC front, can't remember what CD I'm on - I think it's something like C18 or 19 (is is bad that I have to check my diary for this info:confused::o), we seem to be bdinglikecrazy.gif fairly regularly despite DH claiming to be tired all the time (funny how he's more tired when we're trying than when we're not ).

On an :money: front, I think Lloyds Pharmacies have money off on CB tests, not sure how much though as I couldn't bring myself to look too closely at them.

Morning :hello:Glad to see things have calmed down on here; huge congratulations and best of luck to EVERYONE!

Anyway, woke up to loads of dark red/brown blood this morning, assume it's AF? Had a light bleed last week too but assume that was a pill-free week bleed, this is now a withdrawal bleed. Does that mean today should be treated as CD1? Because if it does AF is due on my wedding day!!!!! Argh :eek::eek::rotfl:. Long white dress + AF is not a prospect I am looking forward to! A part of me is now wishing I'd not stopped taking the pill last week . Good grief, these things are never easy are they?
    Updating soon...
  • Gosh.... that was a mountain of posts to read!!!

Anyway all is good here, feelin positive about my app in mid oct, hopin to get straight on some meds, but realising there could be more tests involved first!

Off out for lunch with the family today...mmm roast beef yum!

Lildevil if you think you're not welcome on here and need to be on the TTC 12 months etc then you'll need to take me and quite a few of the others with you too!
There's quite a few of us who feel more at home here than over there for a variety of reasons. Mine mainly being I feel the other thread is more about IVF and those going down the infertility route. Although we've been trying 2 and a half years next month I feel that our problems were/are due to my tumour and now that I'm being monitored and have medication I have as much chance as anybody else so not quite ready to go down the infertility route. Others are here because they've sadly miscarried and are trying again. This thread is entitled TTC and as such is open to anyone in that boat whether they've been trying a day or 10 years and everyone is welcome. I personally think it's nice to have a mix of people on the thread as gives a lot more experience and support. The TTC 12 months is also a great thread for those looking for support from others that have been trying a long time but it's not for everyone.
