Trying For a Baby III

Rather eventful 24hours for me. Came off the pill on Weds but for a few days before and since was feeling weird, sick, sore boobs, belly ache, shooting pains. Anyway, did an ov and pg test last night, both neg. This morning we went to do a 10mile race which we've been in training for since the mc, I knew straight away something wasn't right and was seriously considering pulling out when I collapsed and had to picked up by the medics. Some tests done such as blood sugar, blood pressure and heart rate and nothing unusual in any of them to explain the fainting. Still got the cramps, boobs still really sore. Have no idea what's going on as I still feel light headed and just really weak. It could just be that I'm coming down with a bug but I'm worried that it could be something else (plus what kind of bug gives you sore t!ts).
The sensible thing is to make a drs appointment for Monday but I felt really brushed off by them when I went following mc - was told to wait a few days then do a test (I pretend my heart wasn't breaking). I'm so emotional suddenly, keep bursting into tears and feel like my desire to be pg is becoming an obsession and in danger of overshadowing the wedding.
Can anyone relate to any of this or am I just a complete weirdo?Updating soon...0 -
katy - FRER are bogof in Boots? Hmm, that's good to know, thanks. AF did to you what she seems to do every month to me, I only ever get to POAS as I've got a CBFM!
skintgypsy - don't worry abut posting here! If you feel you're not ready then stay. I wish I could tell you the answer to that question but I don't have any experience, sorry
The issue was the old 2-post one (with the first saying, ooh I'm trying its my first pill-free month, the second announcing a BFP and then launching into the merits of hpts). Don't get me wrong, I am pleased that people find it that easy, but if they just do the 2 posts, they've not added to the thread in anyway.
This thread is much like meeting down the pub, you have a group who sit at a table, sometimes people join in and stay for a few, sometimes people leave (hopefully we all get to leave at some point!;)) But its nice to at least interact with the people who come and not just get a drink then leave. That's just rude.
Edited: becs - again far more eloquent than I! Dammit!
courgette jeez hon! Make an appointment and take your OH/a friend with you if you don't feel strong enough to go alone! Not sure what bugs can make your boobs hurt, you might be pg and it not show up yet. It could be swollen lymph glands that are making them sore. If you're not feeling better later maybe consider going to minors (if your local hospital has one) xxNever argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -
Courgette please make a doctors appointment as soon as you can. Did the medic offer an opinion?? I hope your ok honey. (((hugs)))
bitz I want to bloody sit down at the table and drink!!! But I'm still waiting to get served...won't be leaving for a long time yet!!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

ha ha Bitzer not sure about more eloquent but that analogy is great! :rotfl:I don't aim to upset anyone so I hope my latest post has explained my reasoning somewhat more clearly!
SkintGypsy again I can't offer any advice as haven't been in your position but do hope everything is ok for you. I often think if I ever get my bfp one day then I'll never actually believe it until I have a baby!
Courgette I'd definately go and see GP unless you still feel this bad in which case I'd second a walk in centre or something where they can check you over. Again not having been in your position I can't truly know how you feel and can only imagine how difficult it has been. TTc can very easily dominate your life and covert your every waking thought. You do have a wedding to look forward to thogh so try really hard if you can to relax and focus on your wedding. Put everything you have into that and then get yourself into the TTC frame of mind when you've had a bit more time to come to terms with the mc.0 -

Hmmmm....now there is an idea!! I was talking to my eggs before and OH caught me!!! He now thinks I'm nuts. But I was just letting them know that they stand a decent chance of getting fertilized if they hang around long enough. Just wanted to pop on and say I'm bowing out as I don't feel this is the place for me.
I do want to wish everyone lots of luck and I hope you all get a BFP sooner rather than later.
Take care.0 -
Hi all
Just wanted to say I think I'm very similar to SkintGypsy, because of the MC I don't really feel safe to move onto the pregnancy board yet because I don't quite believe I'm pg, and I've found this thread very supportive. I hope I haven't offended anyone by posting here though, and I will try to refrain from mentioning pg much.0
