Isn't it so lovely when you've been on that journey with them through all those highs and lows and Kenco really has had the lowest of lows and they get that amazing news!
Sorry to the others on here with BFP's that I haven't been as enthusiastic with yours it's just so much more emotional when they've been here a while and have gone to hell and back to get to where they are today and it just brings us so much hope and inspiration!0 -
Kenco that's wonderful news, you really deserve it after all you've been through - just goes to show how stupid doctors can be sometimes (they told my mum she was only having one right up until my twin sister came out 5 minutes after me ).
I do feel a bit guilty though as I know how hard it is (took me nearly 2 years) for everyone waiting for their BFPs to hear about yet another one getting a BFP, I hope Kenco's story gives you all hope that despite seemingly having no hope at all, it can and will happen for you eventually.0 -
CONGRATULATIONS KENCO :j:j:j
That's bought a tear to my eye - I have been lurking on here since January but very rarely post but pop in everyday,0 -
OK, done in. Night all, x0

Oh my word. Two BFP's in one weekened! Kenco I went back to read your posts and as everyone else says...it does sound like its been a long and painful road and your story does inspire so much. And Lildevil don't feel guilty-I haven't been here long and even I know it's the BFP's that we all wait for. I love hearing about them...takes my mind off my dance a bit.
Annie I really hope they find out whats the matter for you. I had that recently where I got to cd61 before they found out what the trouble was...it was horrible.
Emmzy :rotfl:at your escapade. OH's little sister must not have been happy
I'm very confused, I stopped bleeding at about 6pm yesterday. I used a towel for the night but this morning it was clean.
We had a good evening last night with DS's Godparents. We dont get to see them much these days because she just recently started working again and he's in the army (second year of training), so when we do get to see them its really nice. They brought me my birthday present since they wont be seeing me until Saturday. I couldn't wait because I knew they were books so I opened them:oThe one was James Martin's British collection and the other is the slow cooker recipe book. I find James Martin particularly irritating but the recipes are quite good. We sat and read through it cover to cover. I haven't looked through the other yet but am looking forward to it because it claims to have more than 220 recipes.0 -
hey polkadot.. if its not too personal, what was wrong?
I am going mad trying to think what could possibly be wrong as I always have a 30-32day cycle, only once I had a 34 day cycle and that was the month I got married so could have been down to stress! Never had it go on this long (day 42 now). On the positive side at least I'm going to see the GP so my worrying has gone down a little bit. Whatever it is, I'd definately rather know than not. Ignorance is NOT bliss!0 -
Not at all Annie, turned out I had some cysts on my right ovary. The trouble was that I was in pain as well and even one night ended up in A & E. My gp at the time wasn't very good about it and that's why it took so long. I also had the m/c in March so that had inflamed the cysts. I moved house and so got a new gp. He was fantastic and referred me to priority gynae at the local hospital. They established that it is PCOS, which is why I'm taking the Clomid when next AF stays long enough for me to get to cd2. In the meantime, I still have a bit of pain, but its bearable now.
BTW Snugglepants, I bought a wine kit yesterday. DF has been making his own beer for years and we've talked about wine for me for ages. You inspired me, Im dying to get it started but DF says I should use his beer sugar and I dont know where it is...and he's still sleeping. But surely I can use granulated sugar as it dissolves anyway, doesn't it?0
