Does this mean I get to stay off work for now? (Parent of a 5yr old):D
Wishful thinking eh?
I think its stupid personally!!
I'm on immunosupprosents (sp?) which basically means I have no immune system. I'm supposed to avoid all sorts of things... inc swine flu (which could be very serious for me:eek:) but how exactly can we avoid other people??? I can't exactly keep DS in either. Some people have to use public transport for everyday life and walk past/through crowds of people all the time with no choice in the matter!
But yes.... I would say you SHOULD stay off work just to be on the safe side;):DBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
I know, I totally agree, complete stupidity when you think of the implications. They should have immediately started "border control" - ie taking temps/swabbing at airports - as soon as they knew about it (like the chinese did) instead of letting it spread and then coming up with carp like this!
Oh my goodness, you poor thing! That must be worrying having a darling ds to bring back all types of lurgy from school :rotfl: But as you say, it's nigh on impossible to heed these sorts of warnings/guidelines.
I agree, I think I should stay off work - my "boss" is bad enough for my health as it is!!0 -
Awww kencokenco, I don't know your story but it sounds like you've had a right time of it so huge CONGRATS and everything crossed for a sticky bub hunny. :T
I'm pleased to say I'm feeling much brighter today. OH and I sat and had a huge heart to heart last night as it turned out it wasn't just me feeling a bit strange about things. And thats with us agreeing at the start to be chilled out and not think too much about things lol! Also think I've been over tired as slept like the dead last night and feel better for that too. So sorry again for being a miserable cow the last couple of posts, I'm not normally like that I promise.
Anyone want some chicken fajitas btw, I made way too much as usual and although I'm stuffed the leftovers are calling me!:heart2: Mumma to DD 13yrs, DD 11yrs & DS 3 yrs. :heart2:0 -
kelinik - you're not a miserable cow! This board is for sharing the highs and the lows
We're all in this together, and I'm sure if you'd annoyed someone (as if
) then you'd know about it
And yumyum to the fajitas! Did those last night (Quorn) and I'd even eat meat ones right now I'm that hungry!
Plans for this evening are to introduce DD to the delights of Home Alone......indoor cinemaPizza, sweeties and home made cake (made earlier today and DRENCHED in icing and sweets
) Going all out to start the school hols with a bang as will be working 3 days out of 7 all the way through
Can you tell I'm bored? Waffling on talking to myself0 -

I hope no-one minds me butting in but i need some advice!
Been on the pill for a few years and decided half way through my pill packet that i want to ttc. I had sex when i *think* i was ov and my period (on the pill) should have been due on thursday past....
AF hasnt showed and i've been feeling quite weird but i dont know if i'm just imagining it! ive done 5 hpt test 3days before AF was due ( i was confused whether it was last thurs or not) and 2 since thurs!
Is it just my body adjusting to coming off the pill that AF hasnt showed?
Each test has basically laughed at me and came up straight away a BFN!!! So i think i could be jumping the gun a bit!!
Does anyone know if this is the case?
Thanks in advance

Did you have your withdrawl bleed from stopping the pack half way through? If yes, then your cycle starts from the first day of proper bleeding that you had. You can't count your cycle based on the pill cycle, as you stopped mid way, not at the beginning. Does that make sense? HTH.0

coming off the pill can mess you up so it can take a few months for your periods to be regular again its nothing to worry about0
