hey polkadot.. if its not too personal, what was wrong?

I am going mad trying to think what could possibly be wrong as I always have a 30-32day cycle, only once I had a 34 day cycle and that was the month I got married so could have been down to stress! Never had it go on this long (day 42 now). On the positive side at least I'm going to see the GP so my worrying has gone down a little bit. Whatever it is, I'd definately rather know than not. Ignorance is NOT bliss! :D

    Fingers crossed for you Annie

    Hi Annie,
From what I've read it can cause you to skip a month completely so yeas I gusess it is possible. When my periods stopped even after 2-3 months the GP was still saying it was down to the stress of having recently moved house and getting married so I guess it can be. Have you tried Agnus Castus as well? it's supposed to be very beneficial in regulating cycles. I tried it but obviously didn;t work for me because it was the tumour causing my problems but I have had friends use it with good results.

Well I'm not sure when I would put as test date, at the latest af would be due 30th July so could be one of the last July testers or whether to hold out for 1st August instead! Think we may have used our July quota by then!

Congratulations Kenco thats fantastic news. I'm so happy for you both :T:T:T:T

I hope everyone is having a good weekend

I'm on CD33 and still waiting for AF but no show yet. I have had three times now where I have had bad AF pains that I was really expecting it to turn up but I'm still waiting. I know you can also get these pains if you are pregnant but I'm sure they wouldn't be as bad as I have been getting them. I'm sure AF is on the way and this isn't our month. I just wish she would hurry up and get here so we can start the cycle again!

I hope everyone is having more fun in their cycles than I am at the moment!

    Baby dust to all.

The Department of Health is advising that pregnant women and parents of young children avoid large crowds and public transport. However, it is not advising women put on hold trying for a baby.

Does this mean I get to stay off work for now? (Parent of a 5yr old) ;):p:D

    Wishful thinking eh?

So considering I have to get the overground and the tube to work will I be able to ask for 18 months off of work if I get pregnant soon. Do you think they will go for that :rotfl:

Why give that sort of "advice" if they're not prepared to make it actually possible?!?
