MadMac I think we see as you as a kind of "leader" on the thread, therefore when you set the example of going to bed eary the rest of us followed your lead! Now if you can just sort out a BFP, we may all follow you on that too!:D
P.S. My hubby does 99% of the cooking and he's good!0 -
MadMac, The only time he cooks is when he's hungry!!:rotfl:
He was nearly crying for his dinner so I told him if he's so hungry, to get on and do it!!Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1216 -

Aww thank you nunnygirl, you're so sweet. I do feel guilty when I see so many people on here struggling to have even one bub but it doesn't make my ache for a baby feel any less. When I talk to other people with kids the same ages as mine and they say they just 'know' their family is complete and love that they are past the nappy and buggy stage, I don't feel that way at all. Over the past few years I've wondered if its just because of my age that I'm so broody, I mean I'm only 28 now and at prime wanting-a-baby age yet mine are both at junior school! But then examples like your SIL show me that its not the same for everyone who starts young. I did spend 3 yrs waiting for the ache to go away before accepting it wasn't a phase but now we are in a good situation to have another it doesn't seem to be happening. Ok so thats an over-reaction given its only cycle 3 but I am trying to be realistic that it might not happen and that if 2 is my lot I will have to accept (and be grateful of) that. Easier said than done though.
Or I suppose we could always adopt some little chinese baby girls like my daughter suggested, she saw a report on the state of the orphanages there and instantly offered to share her bedroom with some, bless her! Little mother hen that one, can't think where she gets it from!:heart2: Mumma to DD 13yrs, DD 11yrs & DS 3 yrs. :heart2:0 -

Cant remember who was asking, but a little bit about me ... I'm 35 DH 40, been together 11 years and married for 18 months, TTC #1, not used BC for 7 years but only actively trying for 7 months. Should probably be on the other thread, but until all the tests are done (in couple of weeks) refusing to accept a problem, just bad timing ... how about that for PMA!
Not been very MSE this weekend ... out for a few pints & curry last night (benefits of not OVing yet!) and shopping today ....monsoon sale....... bad squishy!2009 total raised £2373.60:jthe new garden beat me in 2010 just £1306.66:o2011 - 365 £ a day.

Thanks everyone for your positive vibes, I feel much better about my TLP now!!
Hen night went very well.... mostly - I felt really sick for most of the evening and had a bit of an upset stomach last night and this morning - incidently, is upset stomach a pg symptom. People were most put out that I was on water all night, thank heavens for dodgy stomachs - ready made excuse
. Been feeling slightly queesy again today, but not as bad as last night!
I so hope it's just an upset stomach that's making me feel so dodgy, my wedding is in 2 weeks time and I'm dreading feeling like crap!Yay Lildevil thats what my last BFP looked like:j
I'm really glad you got it because AF turned up at my door this morning
I haven't told DF yet because he's on call today and has been working since 4am. I've been trying to keep DS out of his way and keep quiet about AF because all I want to do is cry. On the other hand though..the gynae did say that when next she visited I could start on the clomid so I'll take my first one tomorrow and I'll be done by Thursday so any nausea I may feel will be gone by the time we have my do on Saturday. Also the fact that she is here now means she's likely to have left by then and I can have a few glasses of vino
And then there is the new little baba...my friend who I saw last week. Her new LO is an April fool baby and her lead to having him was exactly as mine has been so far. So if I get a BFP next month then my bump might be an april fool too, which will tie in perfectly with my DS who is my little "devil child" who was born on 06/06/2006.
I'm going to drown my sorrows with some shopping now and then DS Godmother is popping by for a visit, so hopefully that will cheer me up.
So I hope everyone has a good day at least.
Aw hun, I'm sorry to hear the wicked witch got you but at least as you say, there's a silver lining in that you can start the clomid now. I'm really worried now that I'll have an April fool baby!mishkanorman wrote: »B2B 2008,
in the early stages of pregnancy I had a lot of cramps and AF type feelings, my midwife explained this as the 'baby' growing and stretching the uterus hence the same feelings as AF (oddly enough its also the same feeling as labour pains-only on a TOTALLY different scale)
im not saying this is the case with you but ive noticed quite a few on the thread dismiss being pregnant due to feeling the AF cramps but it may not be strictly true.
did that make sense ? all im saying is it aint over till she turns up so dont loose hope just yet !

I have been getting little AF type pains quite a lot over this last week that's why I was trying not to get my hopes up too much, I've been constantly knicker checking just to make sure it's not my imagination!!Evansangel wrote: »Guess what happened to me today?!

I had this for a few weeks when was pregnant with DD - and did the knicker checking constantly! Doesn't help when (tmi) you have so much CM to go with it! Makes you paranoid!0
