Trying For a Baby III

I have to admit I don't eat breakfast either. I've tried complan but I don't like it. So I've taken to eating biscuits at work at break time and I've put on 3 lbs this year (which is a lot for me) and I now have some fat you can pinch on my stomach! I know it sounds daft but I'm sooo proud of it!
Being over 8 stone is good for my blood pressure...I faint less when over 8 stone. And people have stopped watching my food intake so I must look better for it too!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Have realised i'll be due to test/AF due at the end of the month/beginning of sept... when my SIL is going to be staying here. I'm not looking forward to her coming anyway but that just makes it even worse!!
Just had a chinese and now having a bottle of wine:DBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -

CAFCgirl - like Smartie, my SIL suffers from Crohns and lost a dangerous amount of weight. She was also recommended milkshakes and has successfully put on weight with them.
I also have a friend who's super healthy (although thin) - she swears by eating seven smaller meals a day. She does an enormous amount of exercise as a aerobics instructor and has to ensure she has enough energy to keep going, and she burns a huge number of calories, but apparently eating so regularly is the healthiest way to go for her....Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Evening ladies
How's everyone today? Very sad about all the AF's arrivingI hope that those of you who are out still have the chance at the end of the month for a BFP
Putting on weight.....I know you don't want to have a load of empty calories, but sometimes a chinese or indian and desserts are a good idea
Talking of weight.....I had to go out and buy a new pair of work trousers as I've put on so much weight since I got married  I did it mainly because of Tuesday - I justified it because I can't really make a good impression if I'm trying to hold my stomach in and am constantly rearranging my trousers in case of the dreaded camel toe!!! And they were only £10 in the saleBut I was not happy with the size  I need to stop with the chinese takeaways every week!!
On a good note, I've started up a batch of red wine - 30 bottles worth!!:D:D It'll be ready next weekend too :T
On the TTC side of things....I'm just trying to get to weds (when I'll cave and test most likely ) and see how I feel. I kind of feel in a bit of a dilemma - not that I have the job yet or am guaranteed it in any way, but my mind keeps wandering to "what if I get my BFP and the job at the same time" - I'm feeling a little guilty (I know I shouldn't really) about it because if I somehow get the job and fall pregnant at the same time I'm going to feel like I'm letting them down0 -
Don't be daft snugs! You can't put your life on hold for some job!!! I'm a bit of a hypocrite though...I'm really worrying about telling work when it happens. I don't want to let them down....lol.
At the end of the day it boils down to that old saying though doesn't it. You work to live, not live to work! So YOUR priorities come first!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Thanks twinklie
I know I shouldn't think that way, but *if* I do manage to get it, I'm going to be so shocked as I don't think I'm really qualified enough for it. But as I say, I shouldn't even be thinking "what if", as both situations are not that likely! But thanks for the reassurance

I know what you mean though, I'm trying to balance what we want as a family with not letting the kids at school down. I'm bothered about messing their education up! But then, a bitterly unhappy teacher is probably going to muck up far more than someone who is trying to make their life richer and is happier (if much more busy and tired!).
You only get one shot at life though (imo) so you HAVE to make the most of it...no regrets and all that!
Really resisting the urge to test. According to MMC I'm CD 25 (I think) so I need to hold fire! I don't think I'm gonna get anywhere though! Boo.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Hello..has everyone gone to bed?
Congratulations Kelinik! :j
twinklie - I'm on CD24 so am just about synched with you - and the moon I think!
I was feeling very logical at the start of this cycle and thought I'd be good and not get my hopes up, but I'm already starting to ss and telling myself I might not have to suffer another af for ages etc etc - do you ever learn?
I've decided I'm going to start temping on my next cycle (it there is one!) as something to look forward to (OH was laughing at me when I said i was going to start charting my temp cos it'll be fun!).
Right - I'm going to go find myself a midnight feast and take my folic acid - figure I really should start taking it again - i started when we stopped using protection but then felt sillyProud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0 -
