M&S have those boots in cream and in pink :D Christmas present for my lil girl!

Skinty, are you tumble drying the blankets or line drying them? Try and get them on the line when it's sunny, even if you have to wet them with plain water before you do it, the sun helps keep baby clothes white so it may help (best way to get sick stains out of bibs).

I have never used a changing unit. Just a mat (or a towel) on the bed or floor or sofa. Safe as houses if you don't leave them lying (same as a changing unit). And more flexable, who wants to have to go all the way to another room to change a nappy when there is no need (read - when you don't have snobby company that would wrinkle their nose at the smell of a baby poo).

Never used scratch mits as they just fall off, I use socks instead. Not essential if you trim nails if need be, but next time you go to tesco why not pick up some tesco white socks just in case?

No idea about the candles, sorry! I'd get some fairy lights just in case.

TMI, the diarrhoea is back and I feel really sick :( wondering if food will help or not. It's like morning sickness again coupled with reflux (you know, a little acid coming up my throat). mleh.

Tia - it's all on the line right now, and I will get some socks although they don;t sell them in my small Tesco so will need to order online from somewhere. Can;t get baby clothes in my town as we don;t have those sort of shops.

Thanks also csh - I thought that about the changing unit but then started to panic about it!

Tia - hope you feel better soon, hon. I've been so lucky really, with no sickness or anything throught this pregnancy, but I hope that doesn;t mean I'll have an awful labour!!

My sympathies, I've had diarrhoea constantly since wk 18. Its not nice:mad:
Also had a return of morning sickness feeling in the past fortnight and a lot of indigestion with reflux and have been drinking milk for this which seems to settle it right down. No heartburn so far this time round tho:T

    to 3 mobile broadband!

Everytime i write a long post it goes down and deletes my message :rotfl:

Anyway, hi everyone :) All ok i hope?

Because i was getting morning sickness people have suggested i drink ginger tea as it will help. I underline 'will' as they were so sure and promising. So i go and buy two boxes of the stuff, drink one cup and spen the next half hour throwing up everything i've ate since i was sick that morning! :rotfl:

So now i have two boxes of ginger tea that smell yuk and i cant drink :p

Ooh, has anyone tried the chicken burger on the McDonalds summer menu? I had one today it was delish :D
Only downside is that when we had nearly finished our meal some girls told us to move so they could sit down, i said no and they started getting lairy :rotfl:
So i told them to 'F' off :D And i refused to move as well :)
OH even stood his ground with me, ah the joys of living in Portsmouth :)

EA, ginger burns on the way back up too!

Only thing that worked for me was go to bed early (10pm up for 7.30am), and don't or drink till about 10-10.30am. And then it HAD to be a roll and slice sausage, I was in tears one morning when the college canteen had ran out!

You'll find your own way of dealing with it eventually.

It sounds gross but at the moment im drinking a glass of pure orange juice every morning, so when it does come back up it tastes ok at least lol!

Last week on my morning break at work i HAD to have a sausage bap from the co-op otherwise i spent the rest of the morning in a mood lol.

    :)

Glam, I'm having to jab my finger 2 and 3 times to get enough blood. Keep wasting test strips! And I'm on the 4th level of stabbyness!

Oh, and I've not done the shopping and there is nothing out of what I can eat that I want to eat.

i'm on level 3 and that bl00dy hurts - sometimes the blood gushs and then other times i get the tiniest bit so have to do it again!
I've almost filled my sharps bin but think it's cos i put the wrapper from the strip in there :o

I'm going to make some plain flapjacks later for me and some choccie ones for OH - I might need to put my insulin up to 10 units depending on my reading in the morning.
