Have any of you ladies had the tesco gift basket i joined the tesco baby & todler club as it said but as of yet have not had the card to go and collect mine and i'm on my second mailing. If you have when did you get your voucher through ???

Sorry if I repeat anyone but am working my way through and answering as and when otherwise I'll forget everything I want to say.

^^^ Lolly, I phoned up about this the other day when I saw we should have a voucher and they said that the voucher should have been sent with first mailing. When I said it wasn't she said it will come just before due date. Might be worth ringing customer services and seeing what they tell you. I didn't think what was in it was worth £11 (though now half price at £5.xx) but i did want the basket as I think it would be quite useful for all the little samples we've been getting.

Aless - Happy Birthday for Sunday. Mine monday too, so I'll be thinking of you. Hope you have a good day with your family despite the circumstances. xxxx

Has anyone started handing over their work-loads, or had to arrange cover with temps etc, and has anyone agreed to do KIT days, have you agreed dates before hand, not having the best of time with work at the moment just wanted to know your experiences x

Hi Nanc, I have discussed KIT days with my HR person and my new, immediate, boss and both are happy for me to do them. No-one has asked when yet, I imagined that I would just ring up the month before and tell them when I wanted to start them. I've agreed it with nursery to do one day per week for 10 weeks (10 kit days) which will boost SMP a little, hopefully to a manageable level, so I will know what week I want to start them as soon as baby is born. But I'll tell them nearer the time in case something happens and I have a bit of extra money to stay off a bit longer. Plan is 10 weeks full pay, 10 weeks half pay, 10 weeks SMP + 1 Kit day, 6/7 weeks annual leave, then back full time. Whether that is actually feasible remains to be seen.

Congrats Mrsmb, really chuffed for you that they were positive. Doc probably just wants to check you over and make sure you know what to do and not to do. Take folic acid, dont eat pate, etc.

I think I may just miss out on this as they are rolling it out in October with 'at-risk' groups first then pregnant ladies but reviewing the data first about what stage of pregnancy to give the vaccine. TBH I'm hoping it will be after Noogle is born so I don't have to decide as I think it would be a difficult decision.

i notice as well reading the article that the jab is from 6 months and older. is this because under 6 months you cant have any jabs?

My work have told me it's up to me and my boss what KIT days I have and my boss has said it would be nice for me to attend a few team meetings and conferences but will contact me first to see if I'm free so it could be quite last minute. Then we just have to let HR know when I'm doing a KIT day (or have done one) and they will put it through payroll. They also said I can do it in half days if I want :)

Maybe they dont have enough safety data for under 6 months? However if you are breast feeding baby will get any of your antibodies so will be protected that way.
