Have used one already, don't care that its says to do it at night. No not trying to queue jump. Bit too early for me, just need some kind of relief now.
Results from UTI test had only just come in and not yet been read. Will call back on way home from work.
WM -With the pessary you normally get a tube of cream, I use that ,(you may of just got the pessary) It says on the instructions about using the pessary with caution if your pregnant so if you dont insert it too high you'll be fine..but how do you know what's too high
I couldn't get hold of my community midwives last week so I phoned the maternity ward and they advised me not to use a pessary in case my waters went. With you being 35 weeks just be careful how far you insert it.
Jenny -Thanks - Its ok I knew what you meant. I read it the way you meant it. I am relaxed about it more now. I don't think I have the home birth option anymore as IF I discharge myself and the gel doesn't work then i have to go back again.

Just got the pessarys, have cream left from last time, but its not done much. To be honest think it is more of UTI, as is more painful, than itchy.
Went over some speed bumps earlier on way to Doctors and i could have screamed my internal bits hurt that much (TMI). Phoned at 3pm, results still not been read. Will ring back before i leave work, if no joy will have to go down there again. Total waste of time my doctors, am so changing once this baby is here.0 -
WM if it is thrush and not a UTI have you tried going back to basics if the pesseries aren't helping. I had a bout like that not long back and it just wouldnt shift at all with the fancy creams and pesseries. I went to tesco and bought a nice large tub of Live culture yoghurt and smoothed it all over affected area problem was gone/99% better by the next day. Make sure you keep it in the fridge and make sure it is labelled so no one eats it ewwww. Yes it gets messy and can feel a little strange but if it works its worth a try :-) xx:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

It sound really painful and like a UTI. Hope you sort it soon you must be in agony WM
I've just changed my name by deed poll - Cant believe it's so cheap and easy to do! Feel better now as we'll only have 2 different surnames in the house and not 3. Wish Id have done it before.0
