Oh well. NCT do a pack of three C-section knickers, may try them instead. Was given a pair similar to these in the hospital when i had DS. They were fab, soft and comfy, i was washing them every night at home, so i could wear them the next day.

Its Ok glam, will do Primark in wigan on a Sunday. So much better, and i know where its free to park at weekends.;) And its only a five minute waddle.

I don't know Wigan centre that well. Will stick to Liverpool me thinks!

    Morning,

Wow finally caught up. Even though I popped on/off yesterday (Glam you tinker for noticing i wasn't lurking I was just being nosey! :A)

Carla ! : Nice to hear from you.Where has the time gone?? 1 week hey..1 bloomin week and you have your LO and I'm still here! lol. Hurry up with your BS!...Nicky- Nice to hear from you too. Don't worry too much about the swine flu. We had it and if your gonna get it your gonna get it. I know it's not what you need. I do feel it's died down alot now though Jenny- Thanks for asking - Im still here! Tia- Amber is gorgeous! I so want mine when I see these pictures. so near but yet so far!

Me: I read the thread yesterday and thanked posts so you could "see I was here", didn't post as I wanted to focus and do everything I could do to evict the LO before Induction Day comes.(Friday) I'm feeling mentally exshausted now tbh.

Had my 4th sweep yesterday and I'm 3/4 cm's...yay! :jThis one didnt hurt. Due to my inner cervix being long/thick and that we think she's a small baby and bouncing out of my pelvis the contractions aren't starting.

Went for an 1 hrs power walk a.m, 1 hour with OH walking fast up hills , sat with my cocksy (sp?) lifted up off a chair (that helps the baby come down) and "did the deed" ..I don't think there was anymore i could do.

Her head was barging down into my pelvis for 6 hours last night and i was suffering pains , only mild ones, really thought this was it (again!!)

...one light on the horizon is that the MW unoffically told me to go to hospital tomorrow get the pessary and discharge myself...I was having a HB anyway so what's the problem? So atm I'm tempted to do that but willing to go with the flow. Apparently "down south" they give you a induction pessary at home , they just don't in the north..not sure if this is true or not. If MW phones me today I'm going to ask if she thinks my GP will administrate it due to the stress I had last week with the neighbour from H8 LL. My GP is very good like that.

I'll pop on later if I have any news etc or to see peoples views....any advice is always appriecated.

    Fingers crossed,

    Desperate mama in Manchester.

Morning all. Hope everyone is well.
Congratulations to every one that's had their babies loved seeing the pics.Would name names but my memory is pants when not pregnant so you's have no chance lol.

Told the kids last night they were both very happy but wanted to know if it was a boy or girl:confused:. Took them to a couple of baby shops to get them involved straight away with the organizing so they don't feel left out, bad idea my daughter has expensive taste. She seen a pram (it was nice but) i looked at the tag hanging down and thought wow nice pram for £110 eyes adjusted and realized that was for the little cosy toes.

My dad gave us a call when we were out so we went down to tell everyone at once unfortunately my sister wasn't well in bed and my mum had went to stay at my grans who hasn't been keeping well either. My dad already knew i was pregnant:confused:, He said he seen it last week and bet my mum a £10 i was pregnant. I didn't know last week, just shows how close my dad and i are lol

Nearly forgot Congratulations to the MTB that has just got engaged.

Hi Suzy, so sorry you are still here! Hopefully the eviction tactics will take effect and you will be holding baby very very soon.

    Morning everyone else!

I'm feeling good today despite yet another headache. Had headache on and off for about a week now. Not too bad at all just there in the background distracting me slightly from whatever I'm doing. Good news is the gum pain is getting better. Still a bit sore to eat and then just after but loads better than it was at the weekend.

Having a Chinese over at my mum's later on too to celebrate my sister's husband getting home! They got married in Australia the first weekend in May although they live here. The three of us flew over mid April, they got married, we stayed another couple of weeks then my sister and I flew home, leaving her DH there to apply for his new visa. Well he finally got it last week so flew home yesterday and we are celebrating tonight! :j

I'm so pleased as she's been really unhappy on her own here waiting for him to come back!!

    Morning all - went quiet!

I think I'm victim of some very much-delayed MS...I didn't really have it at all the 1st trimester, but for the past couple of weeks I've been really nauseous/queasy in the mornings - worst if I'm standing in 1 place for more than 30 seconds. Think I'm going to pick up some of those travel sickness bands...it's definitely not low blood sugar (I don't think??) as sticks around well after I've eaten breakfast.

This isn't supposed to happen at 20 wks! :p There's tons of cake sitting around the office right now as it's various people's birthdays this weekend (mine's on Sunday! :D)...mmm, dangerous ;)
