Hi Glam, smartie12 was here earlier asking about RLT and how often etc. I said you knew, but couldn't find that post you had ages ago with the list of when to take!

harley I havent read back so forgive me if I have the wrong end of the stick but there was supposed to be a student MW at my birth (HBs are a rare oportunity for students so they jump at the chance aparently) my MW arranged for her to meet me twice and she didn't turn up with no explanation either time :( so don't pin your hopes on one being there

Thanks Sami. I was given the impression they would jump at the chance with me too. Probably best to prepare for not, just in case.

Might end up with my best friend after all. Still don't really know why I'm not too comfortable with that but I might just have to get over myself.

Hugs Beenie. The first time you did this I take it you weren't pregnant? If not then that's prob why it was much easier. I'm sure you'll get through it just fine and be better off in the long run. Nice you have the option of your friend to be there is you wish. I know I would def have someone with me if I couldn't have OH, I don;t think I could do it by myself. I'm a bit like that generally though.

Glad your sister's cat back too. Did you cancel that direct debit for the phone yet?

harley good point about the help in the shower etc... I see what you're saying, although after what they'd just seen i'm sure that would be nothing. But i do see where you're coming from and i feel the same...

This is my plan but I'm being induced at 38 weeks

1 cup from Week 32 to Week 33
    2 cups Week 34 to Week 35
    3 cups in Week 36
    4 cups in week 37 and 38

Maybe start it from 34 weeks with a normal pregnancy

Where does the time go?

Apparently the students would be most grateful for the opportunity to keep me company if that is what I wanted.

I'm also quite shy, so having someone there who knows me, and who I would have to see again in the future, doesn't really appeal to me that much.

lol thats how i felt too first time round but believe me when contractions are in full swing you wouldn't give a hoot if you were on live TV for the nation to see.:rotfl:

Yeah when i say first time, i mean with Ds but my mother was so much more supportive then, nowadays all she cares about is her laptop and wine! I was with someone from 16-17 and he got me pg, then decided he didn't want to be tied down and haven't seen him since. So i was a single parent throughout and managed fine!

This time was planned, we were gonna be together forever, been friends for 9 years, been together for 2.5, but we had issues that obviously came back to haunt us with trust (his fault). I think it's gonna be so much harder this time round, i was a lot stronger back then, but he's chipped away at me to the point where i feel depressed and i'm gonna ask my doc to refer me for counselling so i can stop dwelling on the things he did to me (just lies he told, etc).

Oh yeah i rang the bank today and got it reversed :D

Ahh I see. Thanks for sharing. It's amazing how resilliant we can be when we're so young! I'm sure you'll get through this though. I have faith in you :D

Glad you reversed the payment too :D

kindofagilr - Love that range of furniture. My brother in law and his fiance are due in about a week and they have the wardrobe, a thin shelving unit, changing unit and blanket box, it looked lovely!! We waited until after 20 weeks scan to start buying stuff but really have only got going since about week 23/24. We are going for a circus theme in our nursery :T

Sorry for long post, I had a days worth almost to reply to!! xx

Thanks :) yeah I am going to have to hold off buying the furniture but I really want to get it now lol

Just looking into getting a 4d scan booked and was on the insight medical website (I used them for my gender scan) and noticed that they will be at a baby & toddler fair at Doncaster Dome on Saturday 10th October scanning for free (I think). No good for me as I will be too far along for a 4d scan by then but maybe useful to somebody else.

Here is the info direct from the website..
