  • Hey all,

Well it's taken me almost 2 1/2 years but I have finally got here!!!! Doctor confirmed it this morning and thinks I'm around 6-7 weeks but I'm waiting to hear from a midwife soon for a dating scan. I'm so happy and yet so completely freaked out.
OH has banned me from getting any baby packs untill our scan but I'm desperate to run out and get them and read anything baby related lol.
    Love and hugs to all

Hope you and your DS are ok Suzy!

My appt went well, i have all my info ready for Friday. I have to eating breakfast and taking a tablet at 6am and then be at the hospital for 11am, they reckon i should be first in for the afternoon appts so i should be in theatre for around 1.30pm, can't wait to see my boy.

And then on my way out of the hospital i got another call from Standard Life (I had in between had yet another long ranty phone call with them this morning) and they have finally decided that I can have my c-section covered under my health insurance, so i wil be getting private room after my op, hooray! I was starting to feel like i was going round in circles and it's such a releif to know that they've finally decided that i can have it and i won't be stuck out on the main ward for days on end, I'm happy!!!!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

Welcome Fishcake. and congratulations. I had quite a long wait for mine too so I know how exciting it is when it finally happens.

Great news Hypno, glad they finally saw sense. Though, most companies do when you advise them that the press will be most interested in any falsehoods they have previously made. Can't believe you are going to see your boy so soon, I'm dead jealous now. I want my girly (I also want her to get her bum out of my ribs, but if she does it'll only be somewhere else uncomfy).
