grr  I am raging (again feel free to skip)

after my rant yday about people in work not being grateful for the stuff I do for them, I've just had the mother of all emails!

I'm the only one that knows our computer system inside out, so whenever the bosses ask for any interrogation of the system I do it on mine and then send print screens of each step of the process for the others to follow. I don't have to do it, it takes me double the time because I'm having to type the instructions as well but I do it because I know they struggle and they end up ringing me anyway.
I sent one around yesterday and got a moaning email that I had done it wrong and it was bringing up the wrong info - anyway turns out she didn't follow my instructions and did it on her own!

    WHY DO I BOTHER??????????????????????????????????????????????

(is now rocking in her chair saying '2 weeks left, 2 weeks left' over and over again)

    Morning ladies.

Pregnancy yoga was good last night. The usual woman was off and the lady who took the class instead was a little more "spiritual" than the usual one according to the regulars so looking forward to next week when there's a bit more movement etc but still enjoyed it.

Nice to meet in person some other pg ladies too!

MS is back this morning which is quite disappointing - that may well be becuase it's already 26 degrees and stuffy in my office though.

Tia - really pleased you got your date!

Uh oh, i haven't renewed tax credits, as i've been messing with new claims and stuff with them and didn't get another renewal pack sent. Better ring them later, confuses matters now that ex has moved out and i'll have to start a new claim.

    Oops!

    Hello everyone

Hope you and bumps are all well. (Sorry I just can't keep up with this thread - clearly work is getting in the way - must fix that!!) Ha ha.

Can you tell me did everyone get offered a nuchal scan on the nhs?
I have had my first official appointment sent through and it's in September where I will be around 17 weeks and they are only doing a dating scan, no bloods etc. My midwife did say our hospital was behind by about 4 weeks for everyone which means my 20 wk scan will also be late. Midwife advised us to go private!!

    Anyone else had this?

Hi - I only just manage to keep up and I'm on in work!

Nuchal Scan - depends on your local PCT and hospital as to whether they offer it on NHS. I would say the norm appears to be that they DON'T offer it on NHS - the norm seems to be 12 week dating scan and then 20 week anomaly scan although some people only get one scan at 20 weeks and not the 12 week one!

Nuchal scans have to be done between 11 and 13 weeks anyway - I had one done privately at Liverpool Women's Hospital. It cost me £150 which included the scan and the bloods, went on the Monday evening and had results back Thursday. The scan was great because Mister wouldn't do as he was told so it took 2 consultants 30 mins to get the measurements!

I guess u have to think to yourself - if there was a risk this baby would have Down's Syndrome what would I do?
I had the scan because I wanted to be prepared in case there was something wrong but other people just don't want to know until the baby is born.

    Morning bumpsters!

I think it depends on where you live in the country. Everyone gets offered it here (Hampshire) but I know other ladies on here weren't offered it.

I forgot to post my bump pics yesterday, even though I put them on FB. Here they are- me at 26 weeks. Off to the Isle of Wight today to see my Mummy then the in-laws. Haven't seen them all for ages so doubt they will think I am huge.

Hi we had our scan on the NHS at 13 & 20 weeks, they took ages measuring everything in relation to downs and our odds went down quite a lot, then depending on these results they do further tests. There is always that 1 in 8000 chance or something and you could always be that 1, mostly depends on your age, history and measurements they take.
