Tuesday and Wednesday, soup and high fibre bread etc (french onion soup then, yummy), accept all medication and get moving soon as (I remember them telling me that with DS2 when I was able).
You might regret the high fibre bread, according to what I've read! The key is to avoid anything in the few days before the surgery that will cause gas - so anything high fibre, carbonated drinks and anything too processed - and then to reintroduce these back into the diet gradually afterwards to give your body a chance to adjust slowly. If you do get an attack of gas, peppermint oil capsules can help, as can gently moving around assuming you aren't too sore to do it.
This is from "The Essential C section guide" by Maureen Connolly and Dana Sullivan, which I got from Amazon, if you want to read up a bit beforehand.0 -

I would have been terrified of going out in front of a crowd of papparazzi in white trousers 2 weeks after giving birth, much less 24 hours! Do you think she has a sponsorship deal going with Bodyform or something....0 -
Just watched Reaper, and there was a baby on there and it made me all happy and teary thinking that in 32 weeks i'll have a little baby in my arms!
If the baby arrives on its due date
Awww wherever i sit the kitten follows me over and snuggles down to sleep on my lap
It crawled into my arms earlier, (so i was cradling him like a baby) and fell asleep0 -
Nicki, tenna lady pants?
Did she have a c section? They tend to suck most of it out, that's one of the positives I managed to think of!0 -
do we think my pram would look awful if I had a slightly different pram cover?
I have the Silver Cross 3D Jet Sport in black but have seen a cover in Pistachio - which is black with a Grey swirly pattern.
Here is the item number 170366155435 on eBay
Honest opinions please!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
