Thanks Nikabella, its the carrycot off the loola that i want as it'll fit onto the streety chassis. They both have the same mechanism and bebe confort said they can be mixed and matched. The one I was watching on ebays just sold for £87 though! Last week when I was umming and aahing they were always going for £50 + delivery. Id read they shouldnt be in the carseat for more than 2 hours and if I get the bus to my nanas it'll be at least that just going there and back.

Right, off to convince OH we need the carrycot and have my pizza and wedges for tea :D

Glad the Loola carrycot is getting a good review. We bought the Loola Up and I am quite pleased with it. Obviously not actually used it so not getting too excited about it, but the carrycot certainly seems cosy and is easy to click into place. I hadn't realised that I could use it as a lie flat car seat when I bought it but found out afterwards. It's got really good handles for carrying it too. We paid £140 for it new btw from Mothercare (whispered in case Harley hasn't got her vouchers yet!).

    nikkabella,,,
i feel like that too as they have said this is going to be a big baby around 8.5lbs and they said exactly the same about my dd thatshe would be 9lb and was born at 40+4 and was 7.5lbs,,,so i am not really paying much attention to what they are saying to be honest....will just wait and see

    Hey fitzio

No, it's still a dirty word. lol. Apparently the vouchers should be arriving by the beginning of next week. Really hoping they do as it seems such a cheek to make me chase them. Am still optimistic that there might be a letter of apology enclosed with them but not holding my breath.

Thanks everyone for sharing your current estimated weights, and to Nikabella and lil miss for their reassuring stories. I was quite concerned when the nurse commented on what a whopper I'm carrying so it is nice to hear that the rest of you don't seem quite as phased. Obviously, if I really have got my dates wrong then all that will go out of the window anyway. Focussed on 22nd Sept for the time being.

Nikkabella your right it is all a bit hit and miss to be honest but with bubs coming up so big on the scans i would rather calculate out and prepare for a big baby than not that way if he is small its a bonus easy labor for me :-) x

back from a lovely cooling bath going to have a lovely cup of tea and some carrot cake. Anyone need anything from the kitchen whilst I'm there??
Meant to ask last night is anyone getting the sensation of hearing their heartbeat in their ears? Hoping it's just a "more blood volume" type of thing rather than a precursor for my blood pressure rising.
    Reassurance, anyone?
    Coming soon............

Hello to everyone else. Labour vibes and hugs where needed. Off for a bath myself now. Although I am probably the only person who gets bored in the bath and wants out after about 5 minutes. I need someone to talk to or something! Maybe I need a waterproof laptop.

Hence why I just bought this it came today and is fab :T

I'm home! Banned from doing anything at all. I can make a cup of tea and that's it, no housework at all, no matter how small. hmmm...

Thursday August the 6th is when I will be meeting my lil lady :D

Monday and Tuesday at day care, 10am for steroids. Tuesday I get my pre-op. Don't know what time Thursday, will find out Tuesday but I will be at home Wednesday night which is nice.

My consultant was really lovely saying how she didn't want me to feel that she rail roaded me into a section, but she is far happier about me having a plain old elective c section that a trail of VBAC. She then said I would be awake, baby will be placed on my chest as they stitch me up, I will recover quicker and they will make it as trauma free as possible, all nice and relaxed.

Still very scared and panicky but I'm trying to separate what happened last time with what's going to happen, it will be very different. Expect lots of random bouts of pure terror and panic and excitement and obsession about stuff, I apologise in advance while I am still of relatively sound mind (if not body).

So now to think of a name, re-pack my bags again and again, buy some jogging bottoms, get DH to clean the cupboard under the stairs and what not...

This time next week I will be holding my daughter!!! :j:j:j:j:j

Will catch up later girls, sorry, I'm tired and can't remember what I was going to say to folk. :o
