Congratulations always!
Elle, Rhys is doing so well! That's wonderful news. He must be eating up a storm at this stage - how are you doing keeping up with him?
Still taking the tablets to help with my milk supply but only 1-2 doses a day rather than the 3 I was prescribed. Must be doing okay cos I've actually got milk in the freezer now which is something I rarely managed in the hospital towards the endI think the skin-to-skin is helping too and just generally being more chilled about everything.

Hi everyone, in the process of catching up but thought Id better post now or it will be midnight at this rate, lol!! Hope everyone is having a nice Monday nite
Just thinking today how up until recently I have pretty much been feeling normal (well once the morning sickness wore off anyway), but now am starting to notice its getting harder to do some things. Like even bending down to stroke our dogs or when I sit on the floor to brush them, or turning over in bed, or getting off the sofa, or even leaning forward to pick up my cuppa is all getting uncomfortable. My bump isnt even that big!! I take it this is normal at almost 25 weeks?

Aww Elle, it sounds like Rhys is doing so well. It's so lovely to hear after all the three of you have been through.
The names we've gone for are Madeleine Amelia for a girly and Henry Robert for a boy. The girls name has taken us ages (well 26 weeks) to decide on!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Evening all,
Had a quick recap - so here goes...
Zgaze – thanks for the tip about the Grobag egg in Mothercare. I wasn’t going to bother with one, as I have read some dodgy reviews saying they don’t keep temperature very well, but DH really likes it and they look smart. Grudge paying full price for one, but will have a look at Mothercare. Cheers!
Lou/Nanc - The sleeping bags I bought from Next were £7 and £8.50, but not Grobag brands so that’s why they are cheaper I guess.
Kindof – your OH does not need to be there for the booking appointment.
GISI – nice changing bag! See what you have started Aless!!!! Everyone is at it now.
ML – I am a week behind you and I think I had a couple of BHs at the weekend, but not even sure. Don’t think everyone gets them.
SJ – glad you enjoyed your hen night. I take it that everyone at it knows you are pregnant?
Tia – are you sure it’s definitely a girl you are having? She sounds like the boy who cried wolf, messing you around like that!
Always – congrats on Team Blue! Glad the scan has set your mind at ease.
Elle – glad Rhys is doing so well and putting on the lbs. You must be so thrilled.
Boogellyboo – well done on the ebay bargains! I love your user name by the way!! Lol.0 -

I'm due exactly a week before you and I'm the same- recently I have found it much harder to lean forward, or to pick things up off the floor. I definitely feel very pregnant now, and I can't imagine it getting worse for the next 14 weeks! Don't get me wrong, I love being pregnant but didn't realise I would feel so pregnant so soon!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Im due 3 days after you and feel exactly the same. Until recently Ive been carrying on as normal but the last week or so its really hit me that I cant walk as quickly as usual and rolling over in beds starting to require a crane to assist me! My bump does seem huge though, everyone assumes Im about 7 months gone already!
Fitzio the name came from the fancy dress pic in my avatar, I was a butterfly at a festival and when I was very drunk my OH kept calling me a bug and I was adamant I was a boogellyboo :rotfl:Im already working on a baby tutu for some black and white arty pics of baby at xmas!
Always - congrats on team blue :TBelly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
I was in Sainsbury's today, and decided in a fit of extravagance to buy a pair of jeans in a size larger than my normal size, to tide me over after baby is born until I'm back to my prepregnancy size, on the basis they were only a tenner and looked quite nice. I was slightly perplexed to find when I got them home and decided to try them on for a laugh, that they actually fit me quite comfortably now - at 30 weeks +! Not at all sure how this is, as my bump is huge, they aren't hipsters given that I might well be having a csection, and they don't look as though they have been mis-sized or mislabelled!
I've always been a huge advocate of buying proper maternity clothes as soon as you need them on the basis that buying clothes a size up isn't going to last all the way through, but maybe I should eat my words! Although, I have grown out of some of my maternity clothes in my normal size by this point, so not sure how that works...
...just confused tonight I think.0 -

Nice names GISI! Particularly like the girl's name, but then I seem to prefer loads of girls names to boys. Have found it really difficult to agree on a boys name.0 -
So annoyed with ex. For multiple reasons, but mainly because i thought he'd care more that the scan was today and he missed it by choice.
It's been 11 hours since i found out and he's only just text asking the sex, and even then it was after i'd sent him a text prompting him!
