Evening all
I've been disgusting today - there was a large mucus deposit left behind after one of my (32 so far, not that I've been counting or anything) bathroom visits, so I left the cat guarding the unflushed toilet, acquired a cocktail stick and started poking at it like it was a science experiment.
It fell apart
I've just been worrying because I've not felt much movement the last day or so, but the child within reassured me just now by stretching her legs out so that her back and little butt are distorting my left side and her heel is clearly visible on the right. I'm definitely ready for this bit to be over, but I'm going to miss being pregnant and feeling my tiny daughter dancing inside me.
If anyone needs me, I'll be squatting over a pack of Jaffa Cakes and hoping she's temptedOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Sorry, nothing useful to add, but I just have to say, SS and Tia, you do make me laugh!0

you are all making me think of the joke Jason Manford said on 8 out of 10 cats about being tempted out by a rusk can't remember the joke exactly but he does this impression of the baby prying the 'vag' open with it's fingers to try and get at the rusk :rotfl:
Guess I'll have to tempt mine with sugar free jelly or diabetic sweets as I'm not allowed anything nice near me - it's too tempting!
OH winding me up calling me a D I C K HEAD now - he thinks its funny!
Just told him about my period pains and he's worried now - that's got him backI'm not overly concerned as they aren't too bad just niggly pains. If still got them tomorrow I'll ring MW.
Had email back from work and after 'consulting with their HR company' said no problems to change of start date but said they will now pay me any left over holidays when I hand notice in and finish SMP - which is crap because I was relying on that money (£1,500) to stay off until June. They previously said they would pay it at commencement of SMP so I don't see why it would change as I won't be leaving before 1st April 09 so won't need to pay anything back. They are going to look into it anyway - otherwise I'll be trying to borrow the money off family so I can pay it back when I get it.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Glam, ours is the same - they won't pay it until the end because things change and you might want to go back early then you'd be left with no holiday. I know you personally won't want to go back at all, but it'll be one of those "the policy says.." things unfortunately
(says the one who works in a HR dept and wants her hols paid up pro-rata.. still waiting for them to get back to me)

You will probably find they just want to hold on to every penny they can until they have to pay you i think most companies are the same. Fingers crossed you can talk them round :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Glam, that was my inspiration!
What else do I have to try.... maybe a bottle of milk? Something shiny? Babies like shiny things!
Hope your niggles get better, try a bath, it's usually just ligament and stretching pain. I'll be lounging in a bath later on for sure.
Elle, your pictures of Rhys on face book are just so damn cute! Making me all jealous! He looks like he is doing well, how is he getting on?0 -

The silly thing is before I told them about other job they were happy to pay it in September! She said the HR company said that if I started other job before 1st April they might find it difficult to reclaim the money but I told them that there was no chance I was returning earlier and if I did they know I would pay it back.
Just hope OH gets a job real soon so that we can afford for him to cover things until I get the money!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
