My OH didn't come to my booking in apt- it never even crossed my mind to be honest! He has come to one MW apt to hear the heartbeat, but I think he was pretty underwhelmed by the whole thing and isn't bothered about coming again! You don't need him to be at the first one- I'd say it's much more important that he comes to scans than to MW apts.
I bought this OiOi changing bag today in TK Maxx for £29. I'm really pleased with it, it's sturdy, has lots of pockets and I love the design.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
kindof - same as Triggles said, really. My DH tried to come to our booking appt, but he had to leave before the MW even called us in as he was taking a scheduled exam that day! Honestly, it's not anything he NEEDS to be there for as it quite boring...all you do is answer tons of questions, get your pee looked at and get bloods drawn. There's no 'diagnostic' bits or anything really. I'd rather him save his effort for later appts which are more evenful, TBH! He was well chuffed to hear the HB at my 16 wk appt, so something like could be more of a priority for you guys?top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

i agree with everyone else, OH came with me but thats only because we had our booking in appt on a sunday ?? But only ended up feeling left out as he was not asked anything, so as the others said try and keep him free for the other appts.Darling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j0 -
ML - I'm due the day after you and have been having BH for perhaps a month now (or what I think are BH). First one was in Sainsburys!! lol Only get perhaps every other day (if that) but definately feel it all tighten up, bump goes solid and I feel like I need to bend over to stop it all pulling (if that makes sense). xxxMy baby girl :kisses3: September 09 :heartsmil0

Been getting them for a couple of weeks now, to be honest didn't realise what they were at first. Thought the baby was just turning over and pulling on the cord to be honest. Honestly don't think i had them at all with my DS. Its really weird the whole bump just tightens and goes rock hard adn my now outey belly button goes flat. Saturday night i had them one after another for a couple of hours, it was a relief to go to sleep.0 -
Well that's taken me most of the day to catch up!! Now either can't remember anything I wanted to reply to or it's already been said a few times!! Oh well!
Sorry about the bump bands being out of stock. I was really disappointed too when I went to order some  Got 2 from TopShop instead though.
Oh yeah, nappies, I was wondering about that myself! I have bought some already to try and spread out the cost a bit - I have 27 Tesco own brand and 3 x 48 Asda own brand ones. The pampers / huggies etc look quite a bit more expensive. All the ones I've bought have been size 1 newborn. It says they are ok for up to 11lbs I think and I'm hoping for a small baby so should all get used!! Ha ha!
Does anyone have recommendations for wipes? Are own brand ones ok as again these seem a lot cheaper!
Good luck NMS and Tia !!!! :T
SS hope things start moving along for you!
Hi to everyone else!
In my news I think I'm about to start showing!! 11 weeks now and I think I can feel my uterus so don;t think it will be long before it's poking out. Still look like I'm showing due to bloating though
Also had my hen night on Saturday which was so much fun! Went out for dinner which was yummy - then my sister /chief bridesmaid had organised a surprise slumber party afterwards!! Was perfect! Played Buzz on the Playstation, had chips and dips, put face masks on!! Perfect for a non-drinking and pregnancy friendly hen night!!
ALso got moved into new place and am starting to get organised with that now, although still no internet! Love the hosue though! It's so big and have had it confirmed from landlord that we can go ahead and decorate anywhere so long as it's tasteful! Yey! We can put up the borders etc in baby's room!! (Good job as we'd already bought it :rotfl:)
Going home now anyway but will catch up again tomorrow and hopefully won't take as long!!0 -
Aren't those early labor contractions?
:T
God, don't say that.
I've got period type pains when I walk today
My hands are really sore but no very swollen - all my knuckes and finger joints go white whilst rest of fingers red. Not a good look! Like sunburnt Zebra :rotfl:
Mega busy today so can't stay on for long. A bit upset as some called me a D I C K HEAD in an ebay message cos they didn't read the item description properly!
Hope to hear some news from NMS soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Pregnancy is the weirdest thing I have ever done.
