Flis - mine was strictly diet control. Generally, they will attempt to control it by diet first, then if the sugar levels can't be controlled by diet, they will move it over to insulin controlled. Hopefully, your test will be fine and you won't have to worry about it. But the needles for insulin injections are teeny tiny as well. (I know, small consolation, but there it is)*stares at Triggles* don't think I don't see you sneaking in ahead of my EDD there. Queuejumper!

No worries at all - enjoy your last few days as much as possible
I'm just jealous cause you know exactly when it's ending. I hate not knowing, especially when a little round shape pops up out of my belly and I start wondering if it's a tiny head and she's just messing with me and actually planning to come out in September.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Well, theoretically, I know - but there are always those variables - they might be too full to take me in for induction that day - or the induction might not take the first few tries. I try to keep these thoughts in the forefront, so if it happens I don't get impatient with things. lol Still hoping to go into labour on my own before then, though, as I'd rather have that than induction.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0

morning all!
TGIF! seems like a looooong week.
We're going to see HP next week - neither of us have read the book (am not a huge fan of the books but have enjoyed the films, especially the more recent ones) so no clues please!!
got an in-laws event tomorrow - not looking forward to but one of those things you have to do - ugh! sunday we've got a music festival - fingers crossed for the weather. Great excuse to blow most of the weekly food budget on luxuries for the picnic basket, yum!MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!

Morning everyone,
Hypno - thanks for texting Skinty. Keep us updated as I think everyone is starting to worry now. Hope you are feeling ok and keeping out of hospital. Did you get your dongle?
NMS - enjoy your last day at work. Hope your boss doesn't make you work too hard!
SS - do you have your radio show today? Good luck with it!
Today I am going to a friend's house for lunch. I am back to work on Monday for 4 weeks, and have enjoyed pottering about and being away for a few days, but need to get back to real life.
Been over on the OS Board trying to pluck up the courage to use my slow cooker as it's not been used since I got it! Need to do a food shopping too and get organised for going back to work on Monday.
Also, we have a sofa and massive TV in our garage which my friend's sister is going to take for her first flat. I am hoping that she is going to collect it tonight as OH is getting really annoyed that they are taking up so much room and we have other stuff in our spare room which needs to go into the garage. I just think it's a shame to dump stuff which is in perfectly good condition. What a waste! He just wants rid though, so she better come and get it quickly!0 -
Just sneaking on before boss arrives - he's going to be in later cos he's taking his daughters to the airport. Probably means he'll turn up at lunch time and I'll have to cram everything in the afternoon.
Our neighbours very kindly wound my OH up this morning - they are off to Donnington to watch the Moto GP - bike racing - and were out getting ready at 7 this morning - we would usually be going, so OH was sulking :rotfl:
ETA - Thanks Fitzio!0 -
Morning NMS! It's quiet here this morning. Do you have anything planned for your last day? Lunch out with colleagues or anything? Are you looking forward to finishing up? I don't want to go back to work on Monday - even if it is only for 4 weeks!!!0
