Just junk mail today (and yes in a way that makes me sad:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:). What a turnaround from when I would hide behind the couch dreading the footsteps of the postman:oLBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

ive just ben reading alllll the posts and i have to say....well done!! im personally not in any debt (i dont have a high credit score because i HAVENT got credit) but my partner has 32k, not including his flat we rent out. because we're a family it's bringing us down and it's very hard to get out of. we worked out it would take roughly 10 years to get rid of it carrying on as we are now but hopefully when the housing market picks up we'll sell his flat and possibly break even(he remortgaged and added 20k on to his mortgage) but in the mean time we're paying for it. ive been unhappy for a few months now, i HATE debt with a passion so being with someone with debt and bad spending habits is quite hard. ive worked really hard all my life to get where i am and being with my partner feels like im taking a step back....but after reading your posts you've made me realise that it can be done and we can be debt free
so thank you very much! i hope you persist to pay off the rest, the feeling on being debt free is amazing!

Thanks Nat,
Really appreciate your encouragement! Our debt was a result of joint overspending and generally living outwith our means. A pattern we will not be repeating when we eventually become debt free.
Keep your chin up and remember why you are a family. Debt will go, and it is a struggle (but character building I keep telling myself!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free
