Hi Gargrave, glad things are going relatively well. Got my 1st claim off Abbey under the financial hardship ruling, was surprised as I had no priority debts but they have sent back last 12 months charges as a goodwill gesture, and have said they will be in contact regarding 6 years of bank charges once the court case is over. Not bad for 2 letters worth of work. Looks like I'm learning good things from you. X
Hi Jodan!
Fantastic news from Abbey - that could have been a tough one to prove if you have no priority debts but what an excellent result:j
I can't wait until this bleedin test case is over - me and the million other claimants :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
Just shows what 2 little letters can do - I would never have had the guts to take on this kind of fight before I received the wonderful advice and support on here. We are getting there - one victory at a time:DLBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Just had a read over some of the threads on DFW - and I've got my mojo back.
Do I have the guts to slice the Choice debt off my total - its unenforceable - have been advised that they are unable to provide CCA. Although this could appear in the future - do I slice this off my current debt total - even if only for the encouragement of seeing a smaller figure?!LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

A to do list for tomorrow
- If its not raining (its Glasgow - its always raining:p) - get some washing out the back
- Strip DS beds (he has 2 for friends staying over!)
- Transferred £110 from A&L account to RBS account yesterday morning - alarmed to see its still not with RBS today:eek:. It is to cover my mortgage so must sort this out if not ok by tomorrow.
- Off to Post Office to post sold Ebay item - an Armani bag I never really used - accepted £65 for this.
- Go to shops for diluting juice, double cream, bread and a tomato.
- Make tray of homemade macaroni cheese for tomorrow night's dinner.
- Request paper form for tax return from Inland Rev for OH.
- Follow up AA credit card charges reclaim as 40 days have passed since sending in my claim and nothing has been received from them - it is all for £12 charges but worth a try!

Forgot to say my blood results from our occupational health dept finally came through - so just need to scan and send this to London tomorrow - I have some important person's email address who is waiting for them apparently.
Also - finally phoned about my accommodation today - yes I know I took my time over it. Turns out they have never received my form and won't have a flat for me until the beginning of November:eek:. This puts me in !!!!!! - really deep !!!!!!. Not only do I need to find the money for my deposit - I also need to find accommodation to do me roughly 2 weeks (and the cash to pay for said 2 week accommodation). I phoned HR and they found my form and will send it to the accommodation office, but it still makes no difference. Also, when my registration finally does come through - I will need to be £70 odd to be put on the NMC Register before I can head to London. What a t1t I am - I've made a proper !!!!! of this:eek:LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Good morning all - some rubbish post this morning I'm afraid.
Barclaycard's customer relationship unit (yeah right) have written to me - I take it they haven't received the letter I recently sent to them:D. They are accepting my proposed payment of £40 a month which they chose to ignore when I offered it 30th June 2009. However, they note that no payment has been received since 19th August. This would be because the account is in dispute as they have been unable to provide a CCA!:p
Apparently once I pay the second monthly payment they will REDUCE my interest rate and suspend additional charges. They advise they do not freeze interest on their repayment agreements apparently - although JUST FOR ME - they will freeze interest and charges for the next 6 months.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Now that I have an address and a reference - I plan to write them a lovely little letter.
AA VISA have woken up to the fact that I haven't been making payments recently (the last one was only 15th September - they were quick!). The account has since been put into dispute as they have been unable to provide a valid CCA. Also - I have a credit card charges claim (they are all for £12 charges but worth a try) pending, which they have not yet responded to.:DLBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Lots more letters to do - one to Reliable Collections re: £100 admin fee, a letter to HBOS re: further interest and charges added to the account despite it being in dispute - also need to raise complaint with FO and OFT re: this. AA Visa - no reply to request for charges to be repaid despite sending this over 40 days ago now. Also need to compile a letter to the council - they have sent a bill for £247 for the remainder due for council tax - this is for the year ending March 2010. I am paying arrears via s/o to BCW and cannot afford to settle this amount before 10/10/09.
So much to do - off to do the dishes and hoover before I pick DS up from school. Then home to make macaroni cheese for dinner - I have decided I can have some of this as I'm out walking tonight with a friend - so home to walk away the extra calories:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Have decided to wait 30 days before deducting the Choice account money from my debt total to see if anything further comes my way. After that - I'll deduct it from my total owed, as Lowells have confirmed they are unable to provide the agreement and will not be in contact with me again. Its purely for motivation!
My ebay items are doing quite well, watchers on most of the items and a good number of bids on 6 at the moment.:DLBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Just had a read at the credit card reclaiming success stories thread - there are plenty of people who have been successful in having all their £12 charges repaid in full with 8% interest - I'm going for it big time. Will concentrate on this tomorrow!LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free
