Thanks Tixy, yesterday was a write off. Thankfully I feel better now.:j
No news on the debt busting front really. A letter requesting payment from Barclaycard who are in default. If they carry on requesting payment when the account is in dispute which is unresolved, what steps can I take? Is is a complaint to the OFT or FO?
Pigsback sent me a £10 M&S voucher, which would be lovely - except it was £20 I redeemed.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Another couple of complaint letters there then! Where would you be without your complaint letters - you'd be lost! I believe a company has to stop chasing you for money if your account is in dispute - certainly if it is with collectors and they try and collect and you are disputing the debt they are not supposed to continue to chase you.
Maybe give the FO a ring? or do they have a website?

I know, I felt more confident when I was getting something every day!
Generally BJ my creditors haven't responded to my 12+2 letters other than to send reminders for payment. I am now with-holding payment from HBOS Visa, AA Visa and Barclaycard who are all in default:eek:.
I am going to investigate what I should be doing if they continue to demand payment whilst in default................me thinks the OFT or FO but will try to find out:DLBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Thanks df,
I know - I need to get my letter writing head on. The FO do have a website where you can lodge a complaint online but I'm not sure if this is the most appropriate way to move forward. Me thinks I'll visit the CCA updates thread for some advice:rolleyes:
Thanks hettie - hugs to you hope all is well!:DLBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Morning all,
Statement from Littlewoods today telling me I am in arrears, but I do have an agreed payment plan in place with them so not worried.
The letter of complaint I wrote to RBS re: £193 of charges for total items of £20 has been replied to with their standard bank charges letter. They could have simply refunded these and accepted that to charge £193 for honouring a total of £20.17 is robbery. Instead, looks like they are going to make me wait for it. I wish the bleedin test case would hurry up and be over (me and a million other claimants:rolleyes:).
Also, we have changed our utilities supplier from Scottish Power and we have received an estimated gas bill which says we are £76 in credit. Don't know why its estimated when we have supplied final readings?Must phone and ask them for my money back :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Next have replied to my CCA dispute letter where I pointed out that it was invalid because it was illegible - by sending another illegible copy.:mad:LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Morning all,
Haven't posted on this thread for a while as I've been trying to work out all options and read up on them a bit more. I'm going to go down the requesting CCA route in the hope that they can't provide anything, to which I'll use as a bargaining tool for a very small F&F settlement!
Am getting my letters together today to post tomorrow. I found a really useful thread on the Credit Card forum posted by "never-in-doubt". He/She has given a step by step guide including all letters that should be sent!
Sorry, I don't know how to post links (I'm not very techy!) :rotfl:
Will keep you all updated0 -
