    Hi all,:hello:

A quick update before I head to my bed. I have officially done my last shift as a student midwife. What a manic night!

Anyway, opened the post and nothing much to report other than AA Visa have written to accept my reduced payment offer of £10 per week. A stop to all further charges and reduced interest applied. Better than a kick in the touche me thinks:confused:, however I have what appears to be an unenforceable CCA from them. Do I continue paying the reduced payments with their blessing, or do I fight the CCA thing the whole way?:o

Need to think about that one after some sleep :)

Morning Gar (or in your case night:p)

    Last shift as a student:j.

I can't advise re AA as I am sort of in the shame boat with a few. I paid them this month (as I've yet to send the 12+2 letter) but I don't know if I should continue paying the ones that have accpeted the plan:confused:.

Have a good sleep and I'll catch you later.

A big congrats on the end of your student midwifery! Sorry I've been absent from the thread from a while - glad to hear that things are still moving on for you :)

While it's good that they're playing ball, please don't equate this with 'they're doing you a favour'. Granted, you had an agreement and they have let you change the terms of this, but it doesn't mean that the bank is suddenly your pal :D I'd take things all the way if this is a route you're already exploring with other creditors - after all, you're paying their wages and if an agreement isn't valid, this should be challenged.
  • Hi,
Glad to hear that you are now a non-student! I agree with edinburgher - make sure there is an enforceable CCA.

Hope you had a good sleep.

I know you are right, I am already going down this avenue with other creditors. Just need to have a think about this now that I have a minute to myself ;)

    Hi BJ

I feel the same - I have continued to pay Next Directory as they were the first one to accept the plan freeze all charges and interest. Despite putting the account into dispute, I continue paying them.banghead3.gif

Need to have a think now that I have a minuteheadscratch.gif, about whether I am going the whole way as this is no use continue paying but meaninglessly putting the account into dispute.shakehead.gif

Still no word on the Edinburgh job but the unit gets a great name so I'm sure they have been overrun with applications!

Looks like I'm heading to London then ...........

    Hi Gar

Hope things are going well, been away for the week so will read back for your news - PPR means 'posting priviledges removed'. Looks like maybe a spammer, posted on your thread but got reported. Someone goes 'PPR' on their profile if their posts are being reviewed by abuse- usually before they get removed altogether.
