  • Hi Gar

How's things going? Any news on the job front?

What about the creditors - all quiet at the minute?

I have heard very little, spoke to most of them as well, which wasn't quite as scary as I thought it would be!

I seem to be a bit skint again this month - hmmmmmmm me thinks I should analyse my spending dairy:rolleyes:.

    Catch you soon

    Thanks df,

No longer a student and I have 5 weeks until my post in London starts. Have to say I've applied for a ton of temping jobs which I could do with my eyes shut and been knocked back for every one.

Today HBOS sent me yet another copy of the rubbish they sent me before as a response to my CCA. This time it was accompanied by a signed copy of the application form. Still not enforceable :D. I intend to do nothing, hope this is right. I have withheld payments since writing to notify them the account is in dispute.

Also received in writing confirmation of AA Visa accepting my repayment plan. Although they have not yet provided a valid CCA, again they have sent reconstituted agreement . I have written to say the account is in dispute, however have not yet stopped payments stupidly. I'll take my brave pill after lunch and cancel the standing order.

Really need to organise upstairs of the house and do some exercise which are my plans for this afternoon.:j

Going to pick up DS from after school care, and plan to speak to the woman who runs it to see how flexible they can be when I'm down in London.:o

Blue Jeans - things seem to have died down with us too. The old no news is good news?! You have had some great success with PPI - makes me wish I had taken it out now :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

My free broadband with Sky is great and just as good as the O2 one I was paying £7.34 each month for .

Still no £560 from BOS in view of repayment of bank charges (hardship claim) AND, I notice they have added on 2 charges despite writing to confirm no further charges for 3 months.

I will wait until they pay the £560 and see if they remove the charges. Can't wait to have this paid which repays the overdraft, close the account and knock £500 off my debt total :D.

Nothing else much happening just now. I carry on in ignorance paying Next £6.92 each week despite the fact that the CCA they sent although looks like it contains everything is illegible. I'm not sure how strongly this stands up and carry on paying as they have stopped charges and interest and I actually feel like I am getting somewhere!;)

BTW Blue Jeans, we too are skint. Very skint! My OH started his new job today, when the foreman goes back to Ireland in a couple of weeks the likelihood is Alan will get the company van. If he does, we plan to sell his van which we own and pay off a debt. Might be really cheeky and make a F&F on one of the catalogues. Looks like I stuffed up with Choice, and I'd love to get rid of that one ;)

    Good morning all:hello:

Nothing to report on the debt busting front this morning.

I am planning to sort out all of my paperwork and see if there is anything I have missed now that I've lost all my files!

Cancelling payments to AA Visa today - they have sent an unenforceable agreement.:D

Also, HBOS Visa - a short and sweet letter being sent to say - you know its an unenforceable "reconstituted" agreement and an application form you have sent me, if you are unable to provide the original executed agreement then p*@s off.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Forgot to say - I have cancelled after school care for the moment which saves us £18 each week. :j

The woman can be reasonably flexible when I am in London, which means that on the days when no-one can collect DS - Alan can call her and have him at after school.:D

Still no £560 hardship money from HBOS. Their 10 working days must be just about up any day now. Must dig through my paperwork to get last date this is due :)
