Might be worth a post on the techie board? sometimes clever IT people can recover things even if they appear corrupted.
Have you done a search of the whole C drive from the search option on the start menu (I assuming you are on a pc not a mac) and then search for 'littlewoods' as part of the filename? - or whatever word appears in some of your letters titles.
Do you have another computer you can put the pendrive in to to see if somehow (magically?) the drive appears there?
At least you have a record from this diary of which letters you sent to who and when. If you get really stuck and need a copy of anything (say for court proceedings) you could always try a SAR as a last resort - although clearly as some of them have been losing your letters this isn't guaranteed to work.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Oh no - hope you can recover the files - eek.

Thanks Tixy and df,
I've enlisted the help of edinburgher so hoping he can help me out of this sticky mess! I forgot I had cut and paste lots of the letters I sent for "approval" by the many. At least that gives me something to start.
Will try putting the pen drive into a different pc Tixy - hadn't thought of that. Although it is letting me access other files on the pen driveLBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Really pleased you have had a result from Littlewoods - hope they are putting it in writing for you!
Hope you ( or edinburgher) can find the missing folder.

Hi
Well done on the diary S-I-D :j
Changed my broadband provider to Sky as its free and saves me £7.34 a month (every penny counts eh?!), and having trouble setting up the wireless connection. Sitting in the bedroom cupboard literally trying to get it to work so physically attached to the router right now! Will pop back later once its sorted and I'm sitting in the comfort of my armchair! By the way, the Littlewoods letter arrived this morning - got it in black and white :beer:LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Hubbie just called, said he needs to talk and my stomach lurched. He's been offered another job -aaargh! He's calling me back after he's been to the loo (I refuse to have toilet conversations :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free
