Not to mention $400 in cash we received as gifts from our party which is currently in my Aussie purse, and the £800 my tenant is paying me for our furniture the night before we leave :D.

Please God let us not arrive cash strapped:o.

mmm still can't decide what to do. It's things like photographs. We have lived in Australia before and some stuff can be really expensive, bedding and towels are extortionate. We are going to Perth. My fella is an electrician as well. We came back the first time due to kids and now both our boys are over there. Were abouts are you going?
Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Have just listed Cole's bike on Gumtree, if the weather stays dry when Alan gets in will do the adults mountain bike and the golf clubs too. Will list the Next mirror and the eBay stuff tonight.

My favourite programme is on again tonight - The Hotel Inspector :).

Alan's bike sold on Gumtree and was picked up within 2 hours of listing it. It's only £20 because it was pretty rusty but I do love those purple notes ;).

I managed to put the overmantel mirror, and the 2 bikes on Gumtree last night. Today I will put the Callaway driver and the ipod docking station on. Might even try to photograph the golf clubs but they really do need a clean :(.

Must must must do the eBay today - I was very tardy last night and did everything else except the eBay:o.

Busy today too though - the chaise longue is to be collected - that's another £85:j:j. Borrowing my neighbours car to take the helium cannisters back to Hobbycraft and need to collect Alan from work and take him to the Notary Public to make a statutory declaration (its to do with his electrical licence in Oz).Will let you all know how I get on at Hobbycraft.;)

Also have lot's of organising to do. Must make an appointment at the bank (in Oz), AHPRA (to finalise registration) and Cole's new school - all in one day! That's Monday 6th August taken care of, and I start work on 7th!

Got an email from work last night (my new work), asking whether I want to do 8 or 12 hour shifts. 12 hour shifts in Oz for Midwives was unheard of the last people I spoke to. What do I do? Do I work 12 hour shifts but only 3 a week. Or do I work 5 days a week 8 hour shifts? Have texted Alan - think I'll give him some decision making power for the first time in 12 years.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Having now spoken to Alan - turns out there is a reason he hasn't been given any decision making power in 12 years. He doesn't know what to do:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Have decided to email my lovely new employers and ask them to confirm the times of the shifts so I can make a better decision. At least let them think I'm smart ;).
