Just printed off a section of my bank statement in the hope Hobbycraft are feeling generous (but have no car to take me to the actual shop).:rotfl::rotfl:

Have also just realised my Laithwaites £10 voucher (got it for free because I cancelled my wine plan) is finishing today on eBay and is at £5:j.

    Hi Gargrave,

Just stumbled across your diary. We are also off to Australia as soon as the house is sold, have all the visas sorted and family to go to.
Just wondered are you taking anything (furniture wise) we can't decide whether to just sell evrything and have a fresh start or ship the furniture.

Hi congratulations on deciding to make the move! Where in Oz are you heading?

We changed our minds several times about shipping furniture. Eventually after chatting to some famillies who have done the move, we decided not to take anything. Their advice was they had paid to ship over all their UK furniture, then when they put it in a big Aussie house with its huge rooms the furniture was dwarfed. Then they had to try and sell it all and start again anyway!:o

    xx

    £6,261.30:D

Balance of my Aussie pot - due another £247 plus some Paypal money. Also have the £140 cash from the TV last night still to pay in as well as £85 due tomorrow when the chaise is collected.

Once I have at least £6.5k will transfer it to our Aussie account to give us a balance of $13000:j:j:j:j.
