After weeks of putting it all off, have finally managed to get all my paperwork and letters done!:j:j
Including Alan's self assessment additional page, all my debt letters, have queried the balance with Scott & Co - my calculations make it £1600 less.

Queenie was lunching at Durham Castle, as I am in the centre of the town thats when I saw her . I wonder if they had a go at rafting - thats 30 miles south of here and was her next port of call. She had already opened the new Tyne tunnel. She works rather hard!!

Well the only mail was a nice big fine from HMRC for the tax return they told my husband he didn't have to file. It comes with an appeals form which will be completed later today.:mad::mad::mad::mad:
Have to go to the Post Office to get some stamps and post a letter.
Didn't get round to listing any more Gumtree or eBay and quite frankly I'm running out of time:eek::eek:. I can't let them finish on a Sunday because that would be just 4 days before we leave and chances are some wouldn't have paid by then - and what do I do then?!!!! Having a bit of trouble printing off the email I need to take to the Aussie bank to collect my cards when we arrive. Will try to sort that out today.
Have booked a hire car for 2 weeks to let us find our feet - almost $800!:eek::eek:

Just stumbled across your diary. We are also off to Australia as soon as the house is sold, have all the visas sorted and family to go to.
Just wondered are you taking anything (furniture wise) we can't decide whether to just sell evrything and have a fresh start or ship the furniture.Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
