Even if it was something to worry about... it's not like they could send their heavies round to your door... not least because Warrant Sales have been abolished in Scotland... but it's a bit far for them to travel to Aus to 'poind' your goods! :rotfl:0 -

And I'm suddenly really sad because my knowledge of poinding comes from my childhood. It appears I AM my mother's daughter after all0 -

Aww, however lessons are better learned late than never.
I'm a late learner.

Nice man (I'm fairly confident this time - he's called Sean:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:) is coming to collect another Gumtree item this afternoon. Just £5 but beggars cannot be choosers it turns out.
Still looking for a home for my DAB radio, and eventually managed to put the Samsung 32" LCD TV on yesterday. Fingers crossed for a home.
Also found my wedding dress when I was clearing out:). Not dragging it all the way to Oz - don't really know what to do with it.
The only things left to do this afternoon are the complaint letter (sister in law's Mum is on her way), go to the bank and the Post Office. Oh and Argos and Hobbycraft - but the shopping centre is open until 10pm:p.
Meatballs with tomato and chilli sauce & spaghetti for dinner with garlic bread. A little left over Sauvignon Blanc might just go down a treat too.
NSD so far. £7.39 to get back at Hobbycraft. That together with the £20 from Gumtree sales today should cover my ebay postage so I think officially I could get away with claiming today as a NSD:j:j:j.
Maybe not - I'm sure you lot will tell me if that's a valid claim:D.LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Good grief woman. EBAY!!!! Failing that, my sister is the manager of a charity shop and would happily take it off your hands for free for Sense Scotland.gargrave50 wrote: »NSD so far. £7.39 to get back at Hobbycraft. If you charged them postage on ebay, then that doesn't count as a spend at all because they paid you for it!0 -
Well done on the debt busting and good luck down under.
Just a quick question - how did you get the council tax arrears up to that amount? Where I live if you miss 3 months it's attachment of earnings and taken off your pay at source.0 -

She would be more than welcome but it hasn't been dry cleaned since I've worn it, and from what I hear its expensive to have them cleaned!LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Hey, it was an accumulation over two properties. I think because I set up a repayment plan as soon as Scott & Co. contacted me, we didn't get pulled into that.:cool:LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Let me text her and find out if it would still be viable for her to take it. I'll let you know soon as I can.0
