Gutted, just had to transfer my F&F pot £55.89 into our current account as we are really skint:mad:. Wish I hadn't spent £30 going out with my class now.
A&L have taken our loan payment on 3rd August (should be 16th) and then again to come off on Monday. Last month's d/d was declined as we were in the middle of changing bank accounts and had insufficient funds in the account. They wrote to us saying they would reapply for the payment, and then called us to take payment by telephone. When they changed over the d/ds I thought it was a tad cheeky to change the payment date - have now realised that they have taken our card payment AND reapplied to the new account for it. As a result we are £164.31 down. Will give them a call because i believe the d/d guarantee entitles us to an immediate refund?!:mad:LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Morning all,
Its official DS it a clutz.
He poked himself in the eye with a pipecleaner on Friday night when he was staying at my mother in laws (this is the 5th time - same eyes different weapon). He seemed to settle after a while and was able to open it a bit. However yesterday morning he was climbing the walls - DH and his Mum took him to the childrens hospital A&E as I lay on the couch dying of a hangover:cool:.
DH and Mum weren't happy with the Dr, but instead of opening their big gobs and asking for another opinion they brought him home. The Dr said there was nothing he could see wrong.
As a result when he was still screaming at 5pm we had to take him to the local hospital A&E, they (eventually) say a massive scratch in his eye and he has antibiotic eye drops. He is only 6 and can't figure out how to open one eye and leave the sore one closed, therefore I am literally his guide dog today. He won't let me put the drops in, OH is working (double time) he is supposed to be back at school tomorrow and I'm really stressed out:mad:. I should have been on placement today but had to call in and explain. Therefore thats yet another shift I need to make up.
Sorry to rant, just needed to get it off my chest whilst my little blind man is having a sleep (I think - its hard to tell when he has had his eyes closed for 2 days now!)LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Awww poor wee man.
I used to have terrible problems with my eye lining getting scratched - between kids fingers and hairbrushes. I used to get the drops as well and they had like a numbing affect for me. I used them so much at one time my eye went into trauma:eek:. Thankfully all was ok though.
Hope he gets well soon.0 -
