Back in London eventually. Long story.

Never mind, the exercise machine was collected by its buyer today with a nice shiney £10.50 in cash :D.

Also found a buyer for a lamp I had on Gumtree - paid £18 in cash today. A total of £28.50 promptly transferred to the savings account.

I have officially now kept my end of the bargain (completely) on the Aussie VISA front - nothing more for me to do. Just need to sit back and wait for the Visa to come through:j.

Have negotiated a fee of £600 with my new tenant for her to purchase the following items of my furniture:

    bedroom furniture 3 x drawers
    my son's bed
Christmas tree with all the decs
    Sideboard in lounge
    2 lamps from my bedroom

Also, her friend wants to buy my 42" LCD TV from my lounge - £200 I said and she seems happy with that:j:j:j.

A total of £800 (inc TV her friend is buying) towards our savings account just before we go :D.

Also have finally negotiated getting our deposit back from the last London house we rented (moved out 4th April!!!!!). So that's another £600 which should be released to me in the next week. And when I move out my staff accommodation at the end of the month, another £425 coming my way:j:j:j.

That's all looking very healthy indeed. Had set myself a target of £1000 to make off ebay and gumtree before we go. However, have already made in excess of £300 with plenty of stuff still to sell. Might up it to £2000:eek:.

    Achievable?

Oh yeah and the car still to sell - cheapest one I could find which is similar in Scotland was £6k:).

Would be very nice to take £10k with us, and its looking semi-achievable all going well.

My tenant is paying £650 a month, I'll get £625ish after letting agent fees, and my outgoings are £530ish. Woohoo:T. Should build up a nice little "emergency fund" in case of any repairs being needed.

Also, expecting a nice little tax refund to the tune of approx £1k each. However, we need our P45s to claim this so we will be away by the time it arrives in our bank account. Will be transferring it to our Aussie account:D. The beauty of online banking ;).

Also will have no other accommodation fees, no more flights to pay for, and I'll be home to be super stingey with the family.

Won a family ticket for 4 to a local amusement park, so planning on keeping that as a treat for DS during the school holidays before we bog off down under.

Just finishing my shift soon, then heading home to make some meatballs (double portion - other one can do my lunch tomorrow ;)), have a glass of wine and tackle the ebay which is piling up at the end of my bed. My current listings end Tuesday and I'm off to go to the Post Office, so crossing my fingers for lots of prompt payers!

More to list tonight, might even do a few gumtree listings while I'm at it!

Have 2 bank shifts booked for this week and one for the following week. Space for another 3 but literally no bank going at all :(. I've been exceptionally lucky to get the ones I have.

Have put a few things on the London Gumtree site, but no-one seems interested in my tat :(.

On the bright side, have managed to acquire another bank shift for tonight on Labour Ward :D.

That's a total of 3 bank nightshifts this week which should net me almost £600 and will be transferring it all to the Aussie fund. Only one bank nightshift next week, have space for another on the 20th but nothing available at the moment :(.

Sat up until midnight last night listing another load on eBay. More of the same today. I have quite a few listings (15 I think) ending tonight so hoping to net almost £200 as there are some goodies on there. This will also go straight into the Aussie account:A.

Won £10 on a lottery scratchcard - and I never buy these! Transferred my winnings to the Aussie fund, so I suppose I should cash in my scratchcard today!

Have a huge yearning for a McDonalds, and will have enough change in my purse to buy one:o. If it isn't lashing with rain by the time I have finished listing even more eBay today, then I might pop on the bus into town and get one. Starting to pack up quite a'lot of my room as I finish on the 25th and move out that day. Bring on the deposit return! :TAnother £425 into the Aussie fund. Still waiting to receive the deposit back from the London house but it should be in hand.

Still eBay listing like a fiend. After all it all has to be listed, finished and paid for before I leave on 25th June so I can post it before I leave!
