Hubby just called, and might have made my day. But I won't know until tomorrow, so that's doesn't really make sense!:o

Never mind, he just got a call from his old Boss (the pr!ck who paid him off 2 weeks ago). Apparently there is a second phase kicking off maybe Monday on a job that only DH can do. The reason only he can do it is because its in a Police HQ and my hubby was the only one who passed the CRB check:A. Lovely people eh? He will know for sure tomorrow.:D

You and granny have both really made me giggle. Needed it today been feeling a bit freaked out !!

We had our house up for sale a few times, but never did sell it, as I was so fussy as to who I would sell to. I drove Mr Pinot mad, if they looked odd, smelled weird or had bratish children I refused their offers. Total madness really, but I can really empathise with you on the smelly people front !!!

So........ can I expect some more bedtime reading winging my way later, I am getting impatient !! :D

Thanks Pinot, I suppose selling is different though isn't it. I don't want smelly people in here because essentially its still mine. And I want to be able to sell it in a few years without the cost of delousing it first:D.

Never mind. I've had to delete all the messages in my inbox because it was full with requests for reading material, so if you want a sneak peak at the Barclaycard chapter you will have to PM me your email again. Sorry!

And just remember - she's not your Granny:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

  • gargrave i'm exactly the same! I'm trying to rent my house out and i have someone who walks them around for me and tells them all about the area etc (too far for me to go lol) and i always ask what they were wearing, whether their car was clean and if they looked like tramps  he thinks i'm mental when i ask these questions rather than, what job does he/she have & can they pay the rent :rotfl: but after i left it to the letting agents to do this screening before and the disaster tenants i've had, well- i think i ask the right questions who cares if they don't have jobs, the dss picks the bill up *rolls eyes* ;)

Eeeek! I have opened myself up to rejection and I'm not looking for a boyfriend. I've emailed the publisher Vermillion who published Martin's books, and send them an exert of my "masterpiece".:eek::eek::eek:

Won't be holding my breath for a reply!
