Well the postie has been
.
Just a quick update for you all.
Received a response to my complaint with Shop Direct - they are sorry I found it necessary to complain.
For those of you who don't recall, I had struck a deal with Shop Direct for £30 a month repayment no interest or charges. It came to a sudden end, which I didn't realise until I was telephone harrassed by NDR stating I was in default. I offered them my £30 a month on the same terms, they declined. I can't afford more - it's that or nowt. They didn't want it, so I put the account into dispute and they've had nowt since:p. Of course they have lashed on the charges, so I complained to Littlewoods.
They are investigating - I won't hold my breath. If they do want my £30 a month, they will have to remove all the charges and interest they have piled on. Those are my terms, take it or sod off.
Received a letter from Wescot. I can't remember which HBoS account it refers to:eek:.
Never mind, I obviously had a good point because their letter reads the following::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
"Thank you for your patience whilst we investigated the enquiry that you raised with regard to the above accout.
WHAT WAS THE INCOME?
We can confirm that as a consequence of the query you raised, the above account has been returned to our client.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
We have closed the debt on our computer system and returned the account to our client. No further action will be taken by Wescot Credit Services Ltd to recover the above account".
Woo hoo! Off to have a dig through the letters and find out which account this is
Also a letter from Moorcroft. Re: an old old Cahoot loan balance of around £650. They MAY take me to court. I MAY just sit it out and wait for a nice little settlement figure.

I'm going to have an awful lot of emailing etc to do so was thinking of buying a mobile dongle from t-mobile (good coverage in my area of London) for £29.99 including 90 days of browsing and email. This would let me be online whilst I'm away, and I'm away a'lot at the moment!!!!
Will see how much of a contribution towards this I can get from cash 4 clothes first I think.LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Hi
No its not after you are taken to court, usually before they go that far, you get a nice small 50% settlement offer. I'm holding out for this:D.
Enjoy your fabulously stress free day. I'm busy busy as usual, thinking up cunning plan after cunning plan in a vain attempt to make us less poor:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
Off to list ebay, Gumtree and anything else I can think of. More car boot sale gathering is in progress too;).LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

I'm doing meatballs in a tomato and chilli sauce tonight. The Neopolitina sauce is down to £1 in Tesco, so will pick up this and the meatballs. Nice easy dinner, and defrosting garlic bread as we speak.
This dinner calls for a nice glass of wine.
Should also invest in some toilet roll, but it seems so wasteful when I have a pile of Farmfoods leaflets:o.LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Total debts
£6,262.63 to be precise.
2 of them inland revenue and a builders merchant are the bad ones.
the merchant is the biggest and is the one i went down the route of the credit agreement as one was never filled in let alone signed but that went pearshapped and we didnt even get our say in court, forms filled and disputed but still went in there favor ,we did manage to get a payment arrangement after the judgement was issued by paying £ 45 to the judge:eek:
Its going down and it was in the £20 k bracket to start with. and i know this is less than some people owe on credit cards(which we have none off and never have had):)MAKE £2022 in 2022 no 29 £2022/£434.10
