Can you open a basic bank account to have your income paid into so this bank can't just 'take' from your incomings any more, it might help you gain a little control back.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Hi Julie, the last letter is a little wordy, I'd remove the 3rd paragraph and keep it short and to the point!

    What do others think?

    Thanks Linda,

Sadly these letters have already gone. We have already opened a new bank account and they haven't been able to take the money from this account because there was none in it!

I am going to phone Stirling Park this morning having received this from my bank, but I don't know whether I am right to say they shouldn't have proceeded without considering or acknowledging my offer of payment?

Perhaps I should post it as a thread itself to see if anyone can help?

  • Hi

Be careful about phoning them. Remember you have stated that you wish all of this to be dealt with in writing - so you don't want to open the floodgates.

If you are in their vicinity can you deliver a letter by hand and get someone to sign for it?

This would be a proof of receipt.

Hi Hettie, you are right I was just really frustrated this morning. Think I will draft a letter and send it recorded delivery.
