I was kind of looking forward to the postie coming.....until I opened the letters that is....

HBoS sent a different version of their "you need to go through a 3rd party e.g. CCCS to make reduced offers to us" letter:confused:. Will draft a suitable response.

Used Lovefilm free trial (cancelled before trial was up of course:cool:) for pigsback points, and received my 2 free cinema tickets today. Will be taking DS to see Harry Potter tonight for FREE!:D

Received copy of signed CCA from Littlewoods, just need to check it contains all the prescribed terms. The account was opened Feb 2006. A bit gutted really, I hoped they didn't have it so that I could use it as leverage to accept a low F&F:o

Going to make a cup of tea and get a biscuit to help my hangover.

And now to formulate a list for today

    I :heartpuls lists.

    1. Check CCA thread to see if Littlewoods agreement contains all the prescribed terms - I'm pretty sure it does but we all live in hope.

    2. Formulate a suitable response to HBoS which doesn't include bad sweary words:wall:

    3. Write to BFC for the fourth time telling them to close the account. It costs me the price of a stamp every month.

    4. Check online banking.

    5. Make a note in my diary of when the 12+2 are up for the remainder of my CCA requests, and formulate the next letter ready to send for each.

    6. List shopping on consumer pulse

    Can I face this with a hangover?

Looking forward to a NSD - not much choice seeing as I lost my purse:mad:

Ended up doing something not on the list - CCA'd AA Visa. As far as I remember I took a loan out with AA for a new car and there was a box ticking if I wanted a credit card. I would be interested to see if they hold a CCA. The card was opened in January 2006.

    Hi gargrave

How pants about losing your purse, especially as it was both sentimental and a mulberry purse! (I love mulberry goods). Did you get to speak to the driver? Did you sit in the back or front of the taxi? If the front he should have seen it, if the back then I guess the next customer may have taken it. It stinks though - you'd expect the majority of people to be honest enough to hand it in, especially with cards in it (if it only had cash and nothing to identify the owner I can see someone may take it).

Hope your hangover is easing off.

I am a numpty. Turns out I didn't take my purse I left it lying in the back seat of OUR car when my husband ran me over to my friends house.

I did speak to the driver and came to the conclusion that either 1. he fancied it and had it or 2. the next person had taken it as I sat in the back.

Phoned back to say I had the entire time - felt a complete numpty.

But I have it back!!!!!!!!! My husband thinks my mind is elsewhere. It should be on my final essay to be handed in on Friday and I've not started it yet.

First day back on shift tomorrow. This is my last ever placement - next time I'll be a real live midwife! My last 4 weeks as a student to get by first. The good news is that they will be 3 x NSD's. We work 8am-8.15pm, so by the time thats over I head home have a shower some dinner and collapse into bed to do the same the next day! Just as well really as I have nowt in the bank.

Can't have a NSD today because I need to shop for some lunch stuff to do me and OH the next 3 days at least. DS is being looked after my Gran on Monday, going to his football club Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday which is FREE and he takes a packed lunch:D. Friday is his last day off before back to school on Monday so I am in Uni to hand in this essay (for the last time!), so I will need to sort out some form of childcare!

Glad to hear you got it back - what did you pay the taxi driver with?

Have you just got today & Thursday to write your essay then? If I see you here too much on Thursday I shall be along to nag you about getting it done!:p
