Thanks and welcome along. Skint and I have been DFW for some time and share the same warped sense of humour, and a talent for witty but polite letter writing:D.
My thread is somewhat misleading now - I started out with massive debts of almost 30k in 2009, but am now just under £7k:j. Therefore no longer massive debts, however I still have some to get rid of and many to fight.
My thread usually consists of an analysis of the post (although I work in London so this isn't a daily event), and a rundown of my responses and whether they were successful or not. Having recently made the decision to emigrate to Oz, the thread is frequently interjected with financial musings about migrating and all the red tape that involves - oh and the occasional hamster banter:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Well you dont have any!
You get my sense of humour too. I like that. Thats as sloppy as I am going to get.
I will get seriously hacked off it you emigrate and never log back on. Im going to be debt ridden for years. I really like my DFW friends I have. So the rest of you, no hinting at foreign climes, or I will have to write to my MP.

Hey Kathryn,
Personally I was looking for more heartfelt slushiness but you take what you can get in this climate:cool:.
I will of course be continuing to log on - if I don't I know myself too well. I will forget the years of debt worries etc and start to ruin my nice shiny credit report in Oz with much enthusiasm.
I will be logging on regularly (maybe at odd hours mind you!) to make sure you haven't run up a £5k bill on shoes and nappies, and in general to keep you all (and myself) in check:D.

Hey Kathryn
You could try writing to your MP - but mine couldn't even get me off with a parking fine. Good luck!LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Saving my BA miles to hopefully pay at least one of the flights to Oz
. 7,103 at present - wonder how many I will need?! Seeing as a flight to London is 4,500 I'm guessing a zillion.

Got the passport pictures done at Tesco - therefore the to do list for tomorrow looks like this:
1. Complete and send IELTS application form to sit test 22nd October.
2. Finalise CV after first draft today and send with prospective emails.
3. Finalise actual cost of applying for skills assessment transfer and start to plan when this can be completed (money money money).
4. Scan all the letters and file complaint online with Financial Ombudsman re: Santander, for the grand total of £25. Big money - that's what I'm all about!
5. Have THE ebay clearout - and prepare to list a zillion items. Check out the turbolister suggested by SBO.
6. See what the post brings (obviously!)
7. Housework
8. Do the snowball thingy that SBO does - I'm completely irgnorant at times - hear everyone talking about it and not a clue what it is. You would think after 3 years I might have looked into it!!!
And to finish the day off sit in pyjamas with bottle of half price wine from Tesco and have a lovely dinner watching x-factor.

All the letters with the MS Word CV (thanks Kathryn
) are done and have been sent. It is of course 22.30 in Perth so doubt I'll have any instant replies!!!!
Just sitting down to complete my IELTS application form to sit the English Test (pointless I know!!). Haven't heard back from my Uni - left a message for them yesterday requesting a transcript of my training. Hope they don't forget - will follow it up in a week or so.
If I manage both of these, thats the first 2 items off my to do list for tomorrow. All the more time left to clear out for ebay!!!LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Have just emailed BA to ask how many miles I need to save to cover a one way adult ticket Glasgow to Perth Australia. I'm guessing 150,000. Any offers?LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Just found a press release from the Australian Nursing & Midwifery Board which may just have saved me £115 on an English Test (bloody waste of time anyway
