    Congrats.:T
    You deserve a break.
(I shall go off and dream of the days when I was working, and earning... No maybe I wont, as I couldnt give up DGD, so we will just have to stay at the bottom rung for a few more years.:D)

  • I read your thread and don't think I've ever posted before, but just had to when I read your news. I am so pleased for you, as you've been a great lesson in "keeping on keeping on", and now it seems that due to your persistence (and no doubt doing a very good job at work), things are turning round for you. Very well deserved!

Thanks Seaxwyn. Although today I feel I am on a high, as someone in the world of doctors has agreed with me, and confirmed that the twins are Vunerable with ADHD etc etc. I am over the moon, and she was the doctor checking out DGD! But she is writing to the twins doctors and asking them to sort it out! So I rose up a rung today!!(Its not always to do with the money but that does help!).

Hello all. I have not read the board for a while so feel very out of touch - hope everyone is well, especially Taxi, and if there is any news from any of our DFW friends please tell me!

I have now started my new role, as of 24 Aug, but have still to agree the salary. I don't think it will be the massive rise I initially hoped but it will certainly be a welcome increase.

I am considering cancelling OH's life insurance, on the grounds I could spend the money paying off debts. I have written a post on the insurance forum, if anyone has advice or opinions I would be very grateful. I would only cancel life insurance as a last resort, personally.

Is the new job going ok?
