we had what i considered an expensive honeymoon - £1400 and we had a wonderful time, no need for a £6k honeymoon.

Absolutely! £6k seems like a bit of a waste of money to me seeing as you're not supposed to leave the bedroom for the duration! ;):rotfl: x

Sorry I haven't been on today yet, I was in meetings all day today at work, starting at 8am so didn't get my usual time in the morning before the rush starts!

So, the good news is I've got around 25 items ending on ebay in the next few days and at the moment the total of bids is £38 but there is a lot of interest on quite a few of them, so hoping that will go up a bit. 4-5 are ending tonight so hopefully I can make another payment to the overdraft :j

Unfortunately, I got a letter from Natwest saying that they can give me no explanation for the poor service, that they will not refund my two charges as they think they're in the right, and that they trust I am satisfied that they have dealt with my complaint?!

Muppets! I'm so glad that I'm moving away from them, they have by far been the worst bank I've ever have the misfortune to deal with.

Anyway, if anything its more motivation to pay off the debt asap and get away from them! :rotfl:

I have been naughty today though and ordered a dominos for dinner. We've both had a long and rubbish day, and I got my expenses back today (and have enough to keep me in the pluses before payday on Monday and last the weekend so figure its worth a treat).

Very naughty though, feel free to tell me off! :rotfl: xxx

20p on the scratchies this morning, and a grand total of £30.64 from four items last night on ebay! :j That's been transferred straight into my overdraft.

Its really great to see the totals come down, I've been doing this for around 10 days now and it feels so great.

We're going out tonight so I need to try and be a bit restrained as I don't get paid until Tuesday (and am £40 overdrawn in my current account). I'm hoping I can get OH to pay for the drinks as he gets paid today:rotfl:

I'm looking forward to a nice long lie-in tomorrow! x

Well I've been a slacker on the old diary front this weekend, but to be fair I did have Wine Flu on Saturday :rotfl:

Having said that, it was quite a productive weekend, I transferred another £40.27 from my paypal to my overdraft from ebay sales, and have another £15 or so that I'm waiting to be paid on. I've also got two items finishing today totalling £40 so far, so hopefully the last couple of hours will bump that up a bit!

I'm almost up to 2% paid off now, which isn't bad for 14 days :j

Did my scratchcards all weekend as well, so I am approaching the withdrawal points on a couple of them.

Pay day tomorrow as well, which means I can make some payments on my cards and bring those balances down! :T xxx

Thanks Yukkibear! It does feel great now that I'm on a roll!

My two items sold for £47.89 so I'm over 2% paid off now. By the end of pay day, I should hopefully be edging towards 5% because I'll be paying some lump sums this month. :j

I'm so glad that I started this diary and found the DFW board. Without all the tips and support I would still have had my head in the sand.

Got a load more items finishing tonight so hopefully there will be a bit more there, although they are all smaller value items.

Will have to start thinking of some non-ebay ways of making money for when there's nothing left in my house :rotfl: xxx

I'm getting to that point now, it;s all stuff that's been round ebay ten thousand times. I must admit defeat at some point and get rid to the charity shop or something lol.

Well I have slacked for 4 days and not updated my diary, BUT in my defence I've been struck down with the piggy flu! I'm on the tamiflu though and am starting to feel better (just achy and tired) so the money raising can continue.

Luckily a few more ebay items have ended in the past few days, £6 from greenmetropolis and I've made my regular payments so I'm over 5% paid now and all since 13th July! :j

My aim is to try and get to 15% by the end of August. My ebay listings are running out though because obviously I've not been able to list for around 5 days (and lovely OH has been wrapping and posting those things that have finished) so I've got some catching up to do.

OH's credit card was attacked by a fraudster as well which is really annoying . We've only used it once this month and thinking back it was a bit dodgy so he said this to the lady on the phone and she said that it does no good to point fingers! He was only trying to point them in a direction to get a head start! Silly people. So they've shut that card down, and are issuing a new card with the old balance, but will take a couple of weeks, which is a bit annoying as it was a crap rate and he was only ringing them to find the current balance so that he could transfer it to a 0%.

And my mum took her little puppy out for its first walk yesterday and was viciously attacked by two terriers, she's got massive bruises down both arms and loads of bite marks. Absolute idiots - if you're dogs are vicious keep them on a lead!!! She's ok, just quite shaken up, so mad at that stupid owner though - apparently he just said "well you shouldn't have picked your puppy up", but if she hadn't have done they would have killed him :(

Anyway, these things are sent to test us, and we only get stronger through facing them. Really pleased to see my debts going down, and my overdraft is now in the -500s for the first time in aaaages! :rotfl: xxx
