:TAll the best Lou for tonight, and well done for doing all that walking :T

Well you inspired me to walk to work this morning, for the first time. I have to confess though, it was a bit of a disaster.

I work right out in the country, 4.5 miles from where I live, and decided to take the cross country route. Started off feeling very proud of myself, it was a gorgeous sunny morning, birds were singing, I was admiring the flowers.

Somehow, I managed to take a wrong turning, got completely lost. It then started pouring with rain and I realised I was late for work and couldn't find a way off this path, that i'd been on for ages.

Eventually, I spotted a road, hitched up my skirt, scrambled through the hedgerows, phoned my boss, and asked him to come and find me. How professional.

On a positive side. I have stuck to the eating plan again, even though the temptation to open a bottle of wine this evening has been very strong.

Well done for sticking to the plan despite your adventure Scrooge:D

No loss for me this week:( I guess Friday nights takeaway and that cheesecake is staying with me.

Never mind, onwards and downwards. No walking for me today either as my ankle is hurting and I still have blisters:mad:

I am going to get some blister plasters tomorrow, some heel grips for my new trainers and an ankle support bandage...........
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • Thank you Whatawit*, I got the books. I still think you are fantastically generous. I am going to read them on Saturday and meal plan!!

I am really excited about the diet thing tho. so tired at work its hilarious!

Hello all by the way xxxxxx

*I refuse to call Whatawit whatatwit - since you are clearly NOT a twit! xxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

I went for my first weigh in - and I weighed 4 pounds more than my scales at home say :o

I had lost 3 pounds last week before I started doing anything properly but now feel that has been wiped out (I know technically I wa even heavier to start with but still ).

So I've been told I need to lose a stone but I'm going to stick to my 21 pound target. Feeling ready to tackle the fat mountain!

Hey everyone - its hit me today what bad habits I have unthinkingly got into in just a matter of months. Yesterday I unthinkingly ate 2 sausages which were left overs (and ruined my syns total) and today I walked in the kitchen after a gymn session (:A) and as I was talking to my OH I ate 2 milky ways which I had bought for my son!? Whats that about? I must have been doing this kind of random scoffing every day! NO WONDER MY WEIGHT HAS GONE UP!!!

Right - tomorrow I will GET A GRIP

    Rant over - sorry all
Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Morning all. Could you post a few more details on the kick start regime Louise, think my metabolism could do with a bit of a shock to get it moving again.

    Plan for today.

    HM meusli - skimmed milk
Garden salad with salmon and feta cheese
Chicken tarragon, new potatoes and brocolli, carrots.

    Snack WW chocolate roll :j

    45 minute walk.
