Buffy if I had more time I would explain better but here goes.

Your book should have two covers one thats green and one thats red. Turn to the green cover and start looking from there, that is the green plan.

On a green day you can have unlimited potatoes, pasta, rice, pulses that sort of thing its all in the book.

On a red day (flip the book over) you can have unlimited meat, fish, poultry, shellfish.

I will be back later and explain a bit better.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

It's not just you Buffy, I need educating too .....

Looking forward to the lesson Lou.

I enjoy cooking and my husband is a very keen gardener, so we have an abundance of fruit and vegetables at the moment.

His body can't tolerate chemicals or processed food. He will only eat organic, so it can be a bit of a challenge on the budget and time, but we have adapted.

The whole family's health has benefited enormously since we made this change a couple of years ago.

Well done so far - thanks for the funny stories! I've had an OK week considering my Mum's been staying (cheese / biscuits / cheese / hummus / biscuits / full blown curry last night ). I think this is going to take some time - i just keep 'forgetting'. Today I started with water and bran flakes with sultanas :A. Decided to catch up with MSE and have been sitting here polishing off the remains of yesterday's Doritos (inserts self-flagellation smiley here). Why did I do that - I wasn't even hungry?!?

I know just what you mean. If I don't consciously plan what I am going to eat and drink  for the day, then anything goes. Well done for getting back on the water and bran flakes and sultanas. Time to give the rest of those Doritos to mum, there are some left aren't there. :T:T

Hadn't heard of quark before penquin. Just looked it up, sounds delicious, and with white choc options, yum. All the best for Wednesday.

  • Right I had Frosties for breakfast, what does that mean?

I am guessing I am on red day (roast chicken for lunch, with veg no potatoes so long as I can break the news to Mum)

I shall go back to read the books!
