  • I know just what you mean. If I don't consciously plan what I am going to eat and drink  for the day, then anything goes. Well done for getting back on the water and bran flakes and sultanas. Time to give the rest of those Doritos to mum, there are some left aren't there. :T:T

I think that's what's needed - plan everything and just buy that. The last third of a family pack bit the dust  tho. Mum went back yesterday - I was just tidying up! :p

Evening all, hope everyone is well.

Have been having a sweet craving this week so have had half a tub of quark mixed with a white choc options for a low syn treat, not the same as the Wispa that I really want but it did the trick anyhow!

Weigh day Weds for me so need to be 100% over the next few days and get back into doing the Davina DVD x x x

Wow - you're doing so well, Penguin!
    What's quark?

  • Reasons why I want to lose weight

    1. Last week at tutoring I had to run up the stairs to get some extra homework for a small child. When I came back to the parent I was speaking to she commented on how out of breath I was.

    2. The kids I teach look upon me as a Mumsy figure, we have a lot of problems with girls at my place essentially being tarts and seeing no vaule in having a career or a future. I am a role model for these girls and I want to do a better job.

    3. If I am lucky enough to meet a guy I cannot waste time being paranoid about my figure.

    4. I must go back to work different come September. It is going to be a fight, I have to look the part. Professional and in control.

    I have Seven weeks.

    xxxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Good Luck Buffy! It's always good to be clear about the 'Why' before tackling the 'How' (so I read somewhere :o).

Erm.......I think I might need to quit this challenge. I'm still eating as much as I was, and havent really made any progress at all. I have had a chat to the family about it, and they're up for joining me in eating healthier food....but we chatted over tea and choc chip cookies :o

    Sorry :(

Right I had Frosties for breakfast, what does that mean?

I am guessing I am on red day (roast chicken for lunch, with veg no potatoes so long as I can break the news to Mum)

I shall go back to read the books!

    xxx

Frosties arent the best cereal in the world Buffy, you could have had bran flakes, 2 weetabix or Kellogs all bran (you can have more of this) there is a full list of cereals in your book but you must count them as one of your healthy extra b choices (you need to weight them too) you can use milk as a HEa choice

Frosties will have to be synned I am afraid:o

You can have potatoes with your lunch but count them as a healthy extra B choice.

I know, it does seem complicated at first but you are a smart bunch it wont take you long before you get the hang of it.

I am having an Indian takeaway, I have chosen wisely from my menu and gone for an extra easy day to start with so I can have something with rice.

I have chosen Chicken Rogan Josh which is 6.5 syns and boiled rice which is free:D I have left enough syns for me to enjoy 2 of my Birthday Chocolates and a glass of red wine.

Off to see the new Harry Potter after too:T

No, not sure hun. The only thing I am sure of is that I'm more likely to gain than lose this week. Dont want to let you all down :(

Oh Spud you won't be letting people down. I bet we'll all have good weeks & bad. The thing is to all keep encouraging each other. Do stay and keep trying, I'm sure you must be more likely to lose if you stay part of the challenge than if you don't.

Stay strong - you might suprise yourself and have lost - I think the thing with SW & WW is its suprising how much you can eat volume wise.

Spud, don't make any decisions about quitting yet.....I joined last week and I haven't changed my habits at all :o
I popped into Sainburys this morning and bought a pack of their scrummy granola squares  I'd eaten 3 by 10.30
