Clappy bit and image therapy, it's not how I remember SW (was a good few years back, I just remember waiting for aeons in queues to be weighed), tell us more please.
Well I stuck to my plan again today, which is almost unheard of, two days in a row. Hope it will translate on to the scales.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -
What happens, if you've put on two pounds and you confess to having been a lazy slob, but of course it was the 'time of the month' fault?I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0

Oooooh I like this clappy, happy stuff. Thanks. I can do no wrong.
I suppose, in reality, the fact that people turn up regularly deserves a pat on the back. I was very unreliable.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -

The class i used to attend was great for this.
We all got weighed and then the SW consultant would read out how you had done.
If you had lost, or stayed the same, it was mentioned, along with how much you had lost so far.
If you had gained, then just how much you had lost so far was mentioned.
So, no-one knew if you had gained half a pound or half a stone :T
If you'd had a good loss, you were asked what you'd done different.
If you'd gained or stayed the same, you were asked if you knew why?
All very positive and useful to share ideas...as well as being a huge giggle listening to the excuses as to why people had gained.....my favourite was...." I had half a pork pie with my salad" how big was this pie
It was a lovely class and me and mum used to stay every week, it was aceOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
