  • We live in an end 3 bed terrace, what EA’S would call ‘end townhouse’ (LOL!!). It’s 6 years old and I bought it with proceeds from marital home sale plus small mortgage. It has living room, full width of house, dining kitchen full width of house, small utility and downstairs loo to ground floor and 3 bedrooms (1 being very small) and house bathroom to first floor

Tamiflu decluttered with two crumpets and chocolate spread - not healthy I know but what I felt like having!!

Can I ask what the Tamiflu taste like please :o I know its a bit of an odd question but my 2.5 year old has a couse of them just now and I was advised to open the capsules and empty the powder into something yummy for him. Even doing this the poor little mite shudders and really struggles to take it so I have been doing half a dose followed by big gulp of oj then the other half and another big gulp of oj (he doesnt normally get oj so its a bit of a treat).
They have decided that I dont need a course of Tamiflu as I am normally in good health and not classed as high risk so I just have to suck it and and get through it............
Hoping to get DS back to nursery on Monday and if all goes well I should be back at work Tuesday - fingers crossed

Soup is now bubbling on the hob, no flying done but I have had words with DH.:o

Blimus...we live in a 1950's three bed semi detached which is ex MOD housing originally built for the officers. The lady that sold it to us lived in it from new with her husband who worked for the MOD. Downstairs we have an 'L' shaped lounge which we use one part for a lounge and one part for the girls toys, a hallway and a kitchen/dining room. Upstairs we have two double bedrooms a reasonable single room and a separate and very small toilet and bathroom. We're lucky enough to have very private gardens at the front, side and back as the front of our house looks onto someone else's back garden and you have to walk along the path to get to the actual road.

I'm quite enjoying reading everyone else's descriptions too...think I must be nosey as well. LOL

hi erveryone ,blimus we live in a 3 bed semi ,front door opens onto porch which is not very big . stairs go up and round if that makes sense ,quite a large living room which leads to the kitchen ,diner which used to be the kitchen and bathroom ,then there is a consevrtary .the garden is a larre one .upstairs it has 2 large bedrooms and a box room .the bathroom is large cos it used to be a bedroom and the box room was part of master bedroom
before i lived in a tiny 2 bed with a tiny kitchen but flying wise i used to keep on top of it no problem
mind you when i used to work i used to do so much more flying than i do now ,personally i think it was because i only had a certain amount of time to do my jobs in now i alwaya think ..oh well always tmrw

  • Hi elf

My Tamiflu is capsules so i cant really taste them - I have heard that it is very bitter and you should try to put the powder into jam, ribena or maybe chocolate spread to disguise the taste a bit. OJ might work but I think the viscocity (thickness) of jam, ribena may suspend the powder more effectively than OJ - IYSWIM

Maybe your sister should start up a gardening type business
LOL, I will tell her you said that! She is a brilliant gardener, she took over my parents garden at the age of 10, under my mum's guidance, and went to horticultural college when she was old enough, and did work experience at a National Trust place. She left college with all her qualifications, and started working for herself straight away even tho loads of people said it would be too hard to work for herself. She's very determined and knew what she wanted! She is good, she's very popular with little old ladies who might be a bit scared to have a strapping big bloke coming round every week, and she hardly ever has to do any advertising, it's just grown and grown by word of mouth.

I'm feeling quite a bit better today altho I'm a bit quesy (how do you spell that?) , have done some washing up and have been watching Fern's last morning on This Morning - I'm so sad she's leaving, she's so lovely. Phil Schofield is all tearyeyed, he nearly lost it then

hugs Dusty, hope the probate goes through easily

Natty glad you enjoyed your massage, sounds wonderful

Toots - Thursday all done now

Cooked some beef for dinner tonight, lunchtime now

Along the lines of Blimus question

How long does each flying list take you to do all tasks - for me it is about 2 hours depending on the list (master bedroom is my easiest day). Dailies (morning ones I class) take me between 30-60 minutes depending really on how much laundry I have done.
