    Morning everyone,
haven't posted much, been busy! Hope everyone is okay.
Greenbee - I'm with you on the antib stuff - at best a waste of money, at worst:eek:

I agree with this - nothing wrong with hot, soapy water - kills the bugs & they can't become immune to it.

Would just like to say to everyone who is thinking about University - go for it!! I graduated 3 years ago as a mature student, with 2 kids & 2 jobs on the side. I can't say it wasn't hard work & very stressful at times, so you have to really want to do it to get the best out of it - enthusiastic if not passionate about your subject. I've never regretted it, think it is one of the best decisions I've ever made & I left with some good friends at the end of it & got to wear a funny hat to boot!! :rotfl::rotfl:

    Uniform Washer

Dusty's dynamic water feature was in operation last night - shame nobody could see if under the cover of darkness! No lying water left just the black sludge. Highways due out on the 29th with their heavy machinery but my mate Phil's boss rang this morning to highlight the case;)

Woo hoo - a perfect example of 'It's not what you know.....'

I hope they come out soon for you. Ive done some important jobs this morning.... nothing from my list thought. Im off to the shower and then to the docs, will start packing and try to catch up on my list when we get back xx

Morning, hope all are well. Just saw your question Grateful and just had to reply:
Can I ask you wise flypeople a question...

Would it be rude to approach a neighbour to ask if I could buy part of their garden?

In context, they are elderly, we are on good but distant terms, they have a couple of problems in their garden, ie tumbling wall and out of control leylandii that I think they can't afford to fix. They sort of have two gardens, and they are a lot of work for them both.

    Any advice?
My sister has actually done this - she didn't buy the garden, as the house probably wouldn't be sellable without it, but she offered to use the garden to grow veg in. My parents neighbour has never looked after his garden, as long as we have lived there it has been about 5 feet high with brambles, weeds, nettles etc, and he has let her do as she wishes. They both win - she gets to grow veg (she was going to apply for an allotment but the waiting list is enormous and this way she doesnt' have to travel!) and he gets a neater garden! She's only been able to tame part of it this year, but will probably do more next year.
The neighbour in the house beyond is getting elderly and has always grown his own veg - he was quite annoyed when he heard that Florence is taking over messy man's garden, he said he would have loved her to take over his garden as he's getting too elderly to do it. I think she is going to have to do something in his garden too!
